Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-04-22  goodevans: I must admit Aryan Tari had slipped off my personal radar before today. Maybe the fact that Norway so badly underperformed in this year's Chennai Olympiad (2022) (even though Tari himself did okay) had something to do with that.

Anyway, his absolutely crushing win in the first round of the this event was a joy to play through.

Oct-07-22  greed and death: I had not realized that rapport changed his federation to Romania until now
Oct-08-22  whiteshark: chess24 round reports so far:

Oct-08-22  0ZeR0: MVL's games in this tournament have been wild! Be sure not to overlook them just because they are draws.
Oct-08-22  ndg2: The real scary guy so far has been Vidit: 6/6 ! Partially against very strong opponents like Rapport.
Oct-09-22  syracrophy: Most entertaining game of the tournament so far and <my personal favorite of 2022>.

Vachier-Lagrave vs E Can, 2022

Vidit has indeed been superb to be sure. His win against Rapport with the Berlin was a fine game.

<syracrophy>

A great, fighting game! I also recommend MVL - Maghsoodloo.
