Atterdag: Zweite! Keymer seems to dominate the field. +5 =1 is quite impressive, although he's the only player above 2700.
May-21-25  Olavi: So the German championship is now a round robin. It used to be a ca. 40 player Swiss, now they have a 'candidates' which qualifies one player to the ch group next year.
May-21-25  ndg2: ^Yes!

And it's also the first time in a long time that the 'Deutsche Meisterschaften' (German Championships) actually deserve their name (that is, to determine the actually best German players as national champions).

It used to be a second-tier tournament with a lot of amateur players, while the true championships were the 'German Masters'.

Check It Out: Two rounds to go and Keymer is 2 points ahead of Bluebaum who he just beat HTH. Congrats to the new German Champ!
May-23-25  areknames: 2 points in the clear with 2 rounds to go in a field of 7 GMs and 3 IMs. Keymer is truly impressive and he's only 20.

Korora: None of them were undefeated, but congrats that none of them, not even the last-place finisher. were winless!
