The 11th Aosta Open took place in Saint Vincent, Aosta, Italy, February 8th-16th 2003. Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu took clear first on 7.5/9 half a point clear of Sergei Tiviakov, Zurab Azmaiparashvili and Vladislav Nevednichy. 95 year old Enrico Paoli scored 3.5/9.
