Levitov Chess Week (2019)

Former World Champions Vladimir Kramnik and Vishy Anand joined six more star players for a private chess event in the five-star Waldorf Astoria hotel in Amsterdam organised by former Russian Chess Federation head Ilya Levitov on his 40th birthday. The first event was a 7-round blitz tournament, played on August 3. Players had 3 minutes for all moves, with a 2-second increment from move 1. (1) The 7-round rapid tournament took place from August 4-6. Players had 25 minutes for all moves, with a 10-second increment from move 1. (2) Chief arbiter: Arno Eliens. The games were not broadcast live.

The Blitz tournament (3 August) was won on tiebreak by Vladimir Kramnik with 5/7:
