The 23rd Dortmund Sparkassen Chess-Meeting took place in the Dortmunder Opernhaus (Theater, Schauspielhaus) in Dortmund, Germany 14-23 July 1995. Rest day: July 18. Vladimir Kramnik won with 7/9. Karpov, who wanted to make up for his 7th place last year, ended 2nd, while 15-year-old Leko took a sensational 3rd place.
