Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-20-05  rexeterna: Ouch for Magnus...
Jul-20-05  percyblakeney: He maybe went wrong with 20. Ng4 instead of Rxe3, and he surely went wrong with 21. fxe3.
Jul-20-05  DP12: He played like a child! But, seriously, this game was really one sided.
Jul-20-05  AdrianP: Volokitin played this very well - Ra8 to Rb8 to Rb4 was extremely accurate defence, together with Kh7 and f5.
Jul-23-05  Andrew Chapman: What happens after 22.e5xf6? Possibly black plays Qg3+ and c5 threatening Bb7.
Jul-23-05  Montreal1666: <Andrew Chapman:> Yes. Magnus missed 21)...f5. He would have been ok with 21)Rxe3
Jul-23-05  csmath: Not impressed by Volokitin either but this is a typical Carlsen blowout. He will need to start to play more seriously to improve into an elite player. This kind of chess won't work against cool-headed and experienced players.
Sep-04-05  CloudDragon: Both these players are very impressive. In this game black defended well.
Sep-21-21  Messiah:

:^)

Williebob: It's a sort of rash that breaks out once in a while, definitely as irritating as it is unfunny.

perfidious: As he has noted elsewhere, <messiah> enjoys polluting the DB.

I knew you'll fall to the subject! My first truly ingenious prediction ever, thank you very much!

fredthebear: Cough. Cough. Cough. There's more than one kind of pollution on this site/page. A smiley face is the least of it.

Is <Williebob> ever gonna light that pipe?
