Levine, now over 90 years of age learned chess from Cheron, and Billy showed me the puzzle by Cheron posted below. Billy is a strong practical player, incredible on solving studies and puzzles, having been taught virtually all the themes by Cheron. Billy still teaches chess to children in the local schools. He also is collector of chess sets and his home is a chess museum of incredible sets collected all over the world.Billy is a great admirer of Cheron's artistry. Paul Albert |
