I suppose that's possible. I got the game from TWIC's collection, but I have no way of knowing whether the moves were confirmed. Perhaps we should ask Kevin! |

|
Aug-12-06 | | sharkw: Hi, I'm looking for a game of Spraggett's I seem to recall coming across, but I can't find it anymore. Spraggett was white in a Ruy Lopez against I believe an English GM (the name Conquest comes to mind but that doesn't seem to come up in the databases), and I think Spraggett played one of the slower lines with something like 5. d3. Spraggett ended up winning a very nice endgame with I think two knights dominating bishop and knight. I think the game was played between two and five/six years ago, I seem to recall seeing it in a magazine around then. Can anybody identify or post the game? |
