Honza Cervenka: This guy of Congo had quite good olympiad with score 9,5/10. Well, his opposition with one exception was far below 2000 but still it is quite impressive record for an unrated player born in 1975.
Oct-05-18  zanzibar: <Honza> beat me here, but yes, congrats to Kabamwanishi - who had the best record among individual competitors in the open (according to scoring + SB tiebreak).

Honza Cervenka: <zanzibar> He played well beating his opponents quite convincingly but against Brian Diaz in round 7 he got a halfpoint as a gift being pure Exchange down in final position.
Oct-05-18  zanzibar: <Honza> thanks for that detail - I didn't get a chance to look at any of his games.

Instead I've been tie-breaking bad.

Jan-05-20  wordfunph: interesting to see his perf in 2020 Moscow Olympiad.
