FSR: Very impressive for a 21-year-old FM to win the British Championship. Reminds me of when 20-year-old Stuart Rachels, not yet even an IM, tied for first at the United States Championship (1989).

HeMateMe: Rachels--surely you mean the US Open, not the closed US championship?

perfidious: <HMM>, a click on the link will verify <FSR>'s statement; moreover, Rachels finished with the creditable score of 6/13 in Manila Interzonal (1990) the following summer.

not any more. My last computer got wrecked by viruses. I no longer click on any links, posted by other internet users.

And yet you frequently post links in your comments for other users to click on!?

FSR: <HMM> Sorry to hear that. Some links are safer than others. And if I make an assertion about a tournament and post a link to that tournament, it's pretty likely that I'm telling the truth.

HeMateMe: I think it happens by accident--people posting links aren't aware of possible malware attachments. I just play it safe and don't open anything third party. I can get the gist of a message without opening up a link.

Be well.
