Well, if that's the case that assumption is wrong. Saint Lucia has been a sovereign nation for 45 years. Enough with the British Empire already. Let Bermuda and Gibraltar be independent too, enough is enough. Our friend <offramp> may disagree, but he doesn't get a say in this.
