Was on the floor on reading that bit of hype.> Botez checks a few of the important streamer boxes. Young, physically attractive, charismatic/entertaining. In the chess streamer scene she is sorta household name. (So is Anna Cramling (Pia's daughter) btw.). Another very succesful chess streamer is Levy Rozman (aka gotham chess). Levy is an IM, so he is pretty good, but far away from world class, I think Naka is the only chess streamer with a bigger crowd than Rozman. Anyway, point is, you have to seperate succesful tournament player (star player) from succesful chess personality. |
