 | | WannaBe: Hey! My theoretical novelties always work out. (For my opponents, that is...) |
|
Oct-04-07 | | technical draw: <Wannabe> That's cause you get your theoretical novelties at a novelty store...ha! ha! ha! ha!.... |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hello!!
This is my first visit to the <beer> forum. Even though I don't drink, I'm hoisting a <virtual beer> now cuz I got to page <300> in my forum. Whoooo.
Regards,
JFQ |

Oct-07-07 | | technical draw: <JFQ> I'm going to check it out but I believe Women are not allowed to post on this page. |
|
Oct-07-07 | | technical draw: Cause this is a private Mens Club. |
|
Oct-07-07 | | darth pawn: Is this page a joke, or what?? |
|
Oct-07-07 | | whiteshark: <Darth Pawn> All visitors on this page are strictly serious! At least I am. I think. Therefore I drink, ...etc
:D |
|
Oct-07-07 | | technical draw: <darth pawn> Don't joke about beer. Without beer I wouldn't be where I am now. (Darn!, another search, gotta go!) |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hi <technical draw>! How the heck are you? Have you recovered from <Wilson's>
"ugly baby" post during the Mexico games?
Since I'm not allowed to insult anyone anymore, I like to watch other people fight now. Regards,
JFQ |
|
Oct-07-07 | | technical draw: <JFQ> I don't worry about "ugly baby" jokes cause I know everyone is jealous of baby TD. Hope all is fine with you....TD, PhD, DDT, UCS (used car salesman) |

Oct-09-07 | | technical draw: <Wannabe> Any Special reason why you post your games on the Beer page? Anyway I'm also playing in the 38th GK tournament. But I think I'm in another group. |

Oct-09-07 | | whiteshark: Is there a rock bottom group ? Cheers! :D

 | | WannaBe: <technical draw> Think the practice of posting games here goes back to the days before personal forums. Or if you are not a premium member and like to post your/a game. Posting in the Cafe didn't quite work out, because of the massive traffic it had, and your post was soon off the page. (especially when people were posting/flaming one-another). Maybe I'll switch to posting games on my forum, like <suenteus po 147> do... But I do enjoy posting game(s) on the Beer page. <...But I think I'm in another group.> Most likely! Since you're better player than I, so you'd be in the 'Advanced'? Or you're doing the 'Expert'?? Me, I'm in the lowly 'intermediate' section... |

Oct-09-07
 | | WannaBe: <SwitchingQuylthulg> I thought the game would be drawn, apparently so did my opponent, I didn't realize that 41...Ke4! would have cost white the game. (Until Shredder told me...) If I'm losing, I'd either resign, or play on for a bit longer, I'd never offer a draw in a losing position, especially one like that game. Kinda shows you how well NN & I understood our end-game. |

None of the queen threatens another. A piece cannot attack another piece of its own color. |

Oct-09-07 | | ganstaman: <whiteshark: <td>: Never put a in the corner or center !
One solution is: a2-b4-c6-d8,g7-h5,f1-e3. > Of note is that the queens are, for the most part, a knight's move away from each other. And if I remember correctly, FIDE defines the move of a knight to be the closest squares that aren't accessible to a queen (or maybe slightly more technically, the closest squares not in a straight vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line). |
