alexmagnus: This tournament started so good... And finished like one of the worst I've seen from HMK in years (and especially after the recent tournaments having been very good and the successful start here this "hole" she got into is unexpected). In the final round she lost, to Camille de Seroux (2101).

In the end it's 6.5/13, against a 2109 average. A normal form swing, but the last 7 games actually make a sub-2000 TPR (1974 if we round 2.5/7 to 36%). Whatever the reason, I hope she overcomes this "hole".

Aug-18-12  waustad: Being a fan is tough. Something that makes it even harder is when your faves play each other as happened recently in Greece when Pia Cramling beat Eva Moser. This started an excellent result for one and a serious Elo drop for the other. Sadly I haven't seen any of the games from the Greek league.

At least there is a lot of press in German and they seem to pay a lot of attention to their female players. If she looks as good as Melanie Ohm in her 20s she'll get a lot of press.
