Feb-15-09  MaxxLange: Maybe he means "hustle at speed chess" by "busking"? Or maybe Hebden plays a mean Neil Young cover, who knows?

Anyway: hbd!

fm avari viraf: Mark & I played many years together the Challengers, Weekends & the International Blitz Chess Tournaments at Hastings, England. Once, I lost a crucial game to him in the Blitz Chess Tournament but manage to win a Prize. Many years,I participated in the Blitz Chess Tournaments & kept on winning Prizes! I think, Mark has lost the motivation to scale higher in the firmament of Chess & that is why he keeps losing to weaker players.
Feb-15-09  WhiteRook48: Mark your place, Mark! :D
Jul-28-09  champsylove: I think it is the same Hebden that got smashed by Kingcrusher on youtube in a 1 minute blitz. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTsO...
Sep-01-09  HeadCrunch: That Blitz video on Youtube is hilarious!
Nov-23-09  Ezzy: Mark Hebden has just come joint first with David Howell in the 2009 British rapidplay championships.

Feb-15-12  teddyo: Mark Hebden played top board for Leicestershire in a recent match against my county... our top board was ill and so our lowest rated substitute was drafted in. Needless to say the game was very one-sided and I don't think Mr. Hebden was very happy at having to dish out a free lesson.

He also gave my scoresheet a bit of a frown - don't think he approved of my black opening... he was wrong ;)

Dionysius1: Hi teddyo. What was the logic of putting your lowest rated substitute on top board? What about moving everybody up one to fill the gap, or putting your strongest substitute on against Hebden?
