Mar-25-18  zborris8: <The Championship Leg will end on April 9, with the end of the Grenke Chess Classic. Then everybody can admire the final standings for a while, ;)

and then around the 15th or so, <WinKing> can open the Spring Leg with winner bets on the US Championships and the Gashimov Memorial. :)> Reposting -

April 9: Winter/Championship Leg ends w/Grenke Classic
April 15: Spring Leg begins w/US Championships/Gashimov Memorial

Mar-26-18  centralfiles: Can we get some variety bets out there these repetitive white/balck/draw pick 3s might be the beef of chessbookie but can get quite boring.

Some ideas
Will two players be tied for 1st making tiebreaking rules neccessary Yes/No how many moves in all four games combined total Over/under?

Lets make grenke interesting and give us some more ways to get $$$

Mar-26-18  centralfiles: Thank you!
Mar-27-18  sydbarrett: gl moro <3
Mar-27-18  centralfiles: looks like I'm down and out.
Mar-27-18  centralfiles: But at least well get to see Carlsen vs Caruana. Thats the bright side of betting against yourself.
Mar-27-18  technical draw: I'm about 800cbs short of tenth place. I need to get there to qualify for next years finals with 10 grand. So which one of you guys in the 8th, 9th, or 10th place is going down?
Mar-28-18  WinKing: <TD> I'm Your Huckleberry. ;)

Mar-29-18  technical draw: <WinKing: <TD> I'm Your Huckleberry. ;)>

It turns out you're not. I'm so close. Someone above me has to slip. <TITIKIZA> took a dive but not enough. <Kynas and Robin01> are playing it safe. If I'm aggressive enough I might overtake them.

Mar-29-18  WinKing: All three prediction contests (<chessmoron>, <Golden Executive> & <lostemperor>) are open for business. Place your picks! I wasn't sure when I sent out the flyers.
Mar-30-18  WinKing: <technical draw: It turns out you're not. I'm so close.>

You still have 9 rounds <TD> with Grenke to make up ground. That's forever in this game. I think we are going to see a lot of jockeying on the leaderboard during this final tournament of the Championship leg. ;)

Mar-31-18  technical draw: I don't like the new betting layout. I prefer the old one.

Annie K.: OK, I had no idea what you were talking about. I see it now... I don't know if this was intentional at all, I'll check with Daniel. :)

Annie K.: Never mind, not necessary to involve Daniel - it was a copy-paste error at my level, that cut off the end of the link formatting... this caused the rest of the page to get screwed up. All fixed now.
Apr-02-18  wordfunph: <Annie K,> thanks.
Apr-03-18  morfishine: I'm betting! Its fun, but I may have to speak to the Loan Shark soon lol

BTW: In the glossary, shouldn't a few phrases be added like "breaking your kneecaps" or "sleeping with the fishes"

Apr-04-18  morfishine: I just scored 9-1 odds on pick-3, while also picking up another 100 chessbucks on Caruana win. This is fun!
