<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

Mar-07-17  User not found: I never said that! Even Daniel Freeman will admit I told him privately that I don't see it as a nonce offence. I do see it as the most disgusting and intrusive thing <anyone> on this site has ever done though, I also find it weird behaviour, just bizarre and creepy. He was too desperate to impress Daniel Freeman, who of course suspended him from the site for his behavior. If you don't believe anything I'm saying then just ask the people involved publicly? I can forgive anyone on this site anything apart from two people and I don't even need to say their names.

If you can name one thing I've done on this site that's as bad as what he did (believe me he didn't get those pictures from my facebook, Focus and Jay-B can vouch for that) then I'll walk away right now? To post photos of my underage nephew and niece in bed was disgraceful behaviour from a man you're supposed to be able to trust with your life. If my niece ever had problems she couldn't speak to us, her family about I'd expect her to go to one of 3 people.

A policeman.

A teacher.

A DOCTOR!

Now she knows a doctor posted her photos online I don't expect she'll ever trust one again, she was in tears according to my sis and i didn't know what else to do apart from tell my sister so she could email Freeman because before I went ballistic... I emailed him. He ignored me so, well you know what happened.

If you want to defend a man like that then shame on you because if that was TheFocus, Jay-B, Rogge or Morph I would have told them <very publicly> what I thought of them.

Mar-08-17  Deus Ex Alekhina: Spoiled Brat Department: I often use the computers in the library, the keyboard is better than this laptop. Mothers come in & their children start running or acting up as soon as they enter. The librarians, always women, are loathe to act. It's up to me to say something, so I do: "Damn, and I left my gun at home" in a stage "whisper" loud enough for mommy to hear, or "I blame the rotten parents of that spoiled monster, he'll grow up to be Scott Peterson". Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it always feels GOOD to say it, out loud.
Mar-08-17  Deus Ex Alekhina: The fake crying to get attention is pathetic, the librarians don't care, I have resorted to four letter words, out loud - that makes ME the bad guy. The libraries all have children programs now, what do you think they give out to the kiddies - those New Years Eve party horns!! One woman carried a child that was screaming in pain, physical or psychological, in & searched throughout the entire library for almost 30 minutes, the kid wailing at the top of his lungs. I couldn't take it one second longer, started shouting "Get that g..d... brat the hell outta here!" Told the librarian she wasn't doing her job, should retire.
Mar-08-17  diceman: <Deus Ex Alekhina:

Try:

"He'll grow up to be Wolf Blitzer."

...for a transgender: Caitlyn Jenner

OhioChessFan: <DEA> I went through that at the library yesterday. I go for the high speed. I am still on dialup at home. There was a little boy running around the book shelves for about 10 minutes, sort of playing hide and seek, and not quite but almost shouting the whole time. Mom thought it was oh so cute. Maybe I should speak up. As my dad used to say "What are they gonna do, eat me?"
Mar-08-17  Deus Ex Alekhina: Years ago they blamed all of this on Dr Spock, a pediatrician who wrote a book on child care in the late 1950s; I never read it, but I presumed it was all about permissive parenting. Neither he nor his book has been mentioned for a long time. Speak up, say to that mother "Oh, are you the mother of that spoiled brat that is disrupting the library?" There are elderly people in the library, some with walkers, yet these kids are running - something bad will happen. Those kids will grow up to become another diceman.

Let's hope so!

Mar-08-17  User not found: Maybe you old fellas need another library, no one should have to put up with what you're going through, lol. Anyways Elvis now we're best bessies, bffs again I was just wondering what kind of online work you're looking at? You did say that the other day right? I might be able to help you with that.

Are you prepared to commit crimes? If the answer is no then I'm out, lol.

No I'm being serious now I could help you with that. I just need to know what kinda stuff you were thinking of?

Go to any major city library, and you'll be sure to see what I am about to describe: Outside, a bunch of Hispanic and black kids, skateboarding, rollerblading, doing nothing in particular. Inside, a bunch of Asian kids quietly reading/studying.

Mar-10-17  diceman: The cool thing about undisciplined children?

They “grow-up” to be adults.

My apologies <BFF>. (See what I did there?) Sometimes I just skim through posts and I get mixed up, it's just a taster of what's to come should I live to reach dicey's age. And dicey everytime I see you post lately you get funnier and funnier..

<diceman: <OhioChessFan: No idea what you mean <UNF>> He must have you confused with every other conversation he's had.>

I'm thinking you're chasing the much coveted "Funniest poster of 2018" award at the crony ceremony and you're making an early push to be amongst the front runners harrylime, AJ Goldsby (he should be up for a posthumous lifetime achievement award, he's left us years worth of material), jiffster, and someone else who's funny for all the wrong reasons? Well I promise you you have my vote but only if you stop with all these hilarious one liners <now>!

Mar-11-17  diceman: Mark you really need to lighten up!
Put a smile on, don't be the spring that's always wound too tight.

By the way, did your mom encourage you to run in the library when you were young? Maybe hand you a pair of scissors first?

I will commend you for this, you quanitifed something I had wanted to put into words for years. It's hard to quantify funny. But you found a way. That is, the person who wins Funniest Kibitzer should be a person who gets quoted on the Memorable Quotes page. What a nice and simple basis for a vote. Anyway, here's one from <diceman> I was going to put on Memorable Quotes but due to the self inflicted moratorium I won't:

OhioChessFan: FWIW, it may be a crony ceremony but I am puzzled why you consider me part of the crony crowd. Never mind anything else, I got a vote once for Funniest, a couple along the way for Most Helpful and maybe one for Most Constructive. I couldn't even win the new category of Best Off Topic Post with my song parodies. But, I have <ELVIS> as an avatar, for crying out loud, and I think I've gotten one vote total for Best Avatar. I don't care a bit, but seriously, someone has to be a real outsider to be ignored with Elvis on his side.

Anyway, I think the Caissars have gotten way too long in the tooth and kind of wish they'd drop it. They won't.

Yeah but I think certain people are funny for all the wrong reasons, I could give a few examples.. I just read the Ceegee help forum. I laughed but only because of the insanity and not because of the witty one liners!

<That is, the person who wins Funniest Kibitzer should be a person who gets quoted on the Memorable Quotes page. What a nice and simple basis for a vote.>

But AJ, AI, harrylimed and the rest would win every year. I don't agree with that although I don't see those awards as very important because people just vote for their mates. TD is probably a nice old fella really but one thing he isn't is funny! He wins every year!?

<Anyway, here's one from <diceman> I was going to put on Memorable Quotes but due to the self inflicted moratorium I won't:

Yeah that's a good one from Dicey but it's once he gets to telling a joke with <two lines> where you realize he's not very funny. Nice post though, I'll hand it to him on this occasion.

<FWIW, it may be a crony ceremony but I am puzzled why you consider me part of the crony crowd.>

If I answered that you wouldn't like it so I'll skip on that one unless you <really> want an answer??

That certainly is one of Ceegees great mysteries. Maybe you're a jack of all trades and master of none, you're probably speaking to the wrong man about this because I'm sarcastic and not to most Americans tastes.. Although you elected Donald Trump so you must have a pretty good sense of humor as a nation! Lol. I don't really know Elvis, I don't pay too much attention to the cronies anymore mate.

<Anyway, I think the Caissars have gotten way too long in the tooth and kind of wish they'd drop it. They won't.>

Agreed. When you win funniest poster on ceegee for 5 years straight without actually being funny then I think one of you fellas, one of you with <privileges> (unless they get revoked) here should just have a private "awards" in one of your forums. Annie runs those awards every year bless her, I'm not being funny or nothing and she deserves credit and does a good job with patience but why would anyone vote for a white cat as best Avatar!?

It's cronyism, Elvis.

I think it'd be considered poor form to comment on the fact that somebody who repeatedly wins funniest kibitzer isn't funny, so people don't. I can't begin to understand why someone would win best user name or best avatar more than once.

A private ceremony? Who'd care except the person naming the winners? But whatever, here's my private ceremony. I will limit the award winners only to people who were nominated.
