<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 9 Recap **

We're nearing the end of our unauthorized contest, and everyone is beginning to wonder if <chessmoron> will refuse to pay for the gold medals to be awarded. No matter, our fearless contestants are soldiering on. It's a very rare occasion that we have 4 different leaders in the 4 different Rankers, and no ties among them. <OCF> is hoping contest historians <Winky> and <Pengo> can check into how often that happens. In any event, <lostemperor>, <Pengo>, <Winky> and <Schwartz> lead one Ranker each.

In other news, where in the world is <chessmoron>? Meanwhile, <OhioChessFan> was the last contestant banished from the playing arena, after he shouted at everyone to "QUIT TALKING ABOUT FISCHER!" And <juan31> earned a lot of glares from Vishy, who hopes <juan> will run out of ways to describe how bad Vishy is playing.

Meanwhile, once again, <Count Wedgemore> has a ridiculous new get rich quick scheme. This one involves selling buttons at all chess tournaments that say, "Global Warming is a Hoax!" And in a strange turn of events, <lostemperor> made a transparent effort to get <WinKing> off his game, by repeatedly telling <Winky> how great he was. <le> was hoping that would cause <Winky> to relax and not focus on his picks as much as he should.

Where in the world is <chessmoron>? What will we do for gold medals if <cm> doesn't pay for them? Who will be next to be thrown out of the playing hall for bad behavior? Who will <lostemperor> try to butter up next? Stay tuned for the ansers to these and many other interesting questions. Only 2 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 10 Recap **

The crowd is roaring for our contestants as we race to the finish line. <lostemperor> has worked his way to the lead in 2 Rankers. Asked to comment, he replied, "That I'm better deal I know losers than these with it." <Pengo> and <Winky> lead the other 2 Rankers. There are close contests all over the place and every gold medal is up for grabs.

Speaking of gold medals, where in the world is <chessmoron>? <Winky> has suggested we buy those gold foil chocolate candies to hand out. <OhioChessFan> has been begging <Golden Executive> to give him a few extras. We'll worry about it when we worry about it, but everyone is very worried that <chessmoron> will/will not show up.

Meanwhile, another of our contestants was thrown out of the playing hall today, as <OCF> yelled his fool head off when the So-Carlsen game ended in a draw. Everyone else was hoping for a fireworks loaded decisive game, so <OCF> got a lot of dirty looks. And again, <Count> has another ridiculous get rich quick scheme ready. He plans to sell Megan Rapinoe t-shirts at all the chess tournaments.

In other news, <juan31> was asked to comment on the final round strategy for Carlsen. He confidently explained that Carlsen needed to win in the last round to ensure he'll win the tournament, but that if he draws, that will ensure he wins the tournament. Everyone listening had a puzzled look on their face, but were afraid to act like they were the only one who didn't understand the explanation. On a related note, <wordfunph> has suggested our contest only predict the results of Carlsen games, as all the other players are just decorations anyway.

Where in the world is <chessmoron>? Can our leaders hold on to their gold medals-will they even receive them if they win-or will someone make a last minute charge to stake their claim for immortality? Who will get thrown out for yelling at a game tomorrow? Does <wordfunph> care about any player in the world besides Carlsen? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other intriguing questions. It's the last round, the contestants are nervous but ready, the air is electric, and the crowd rises.......
