<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 6 Recap **

<amw> continued his Rock Star Tour as he has opened up a big lead in 3 of the 4 Rankers. <OCF> has to content himself with being a minor Rock Star as he leads 1 Ranker. Bonus Ranker is currently the only close contest. <Winky> is trying to think of another psychological ploy to slow <amw> down as the last one clearly didn't work.

In other news, <wordfunph> busted into the Bookie Cafe and in his best Clint Eastwood imitation, screamed, "Go head, make my day!" <lostemperor> was rumored to be holding secret discussions with <OCF> about the <amw> "problem", as it would destroy everyone's confidence if one person swept all the golds in both Moves Prediction and Final Standings. <le> was heard to mumble, "Wish him luck I'd to really love but he'd be if he wins everything prick an unbearable." Meanwhile, <Diademas> tried flirting with Natalia Pogonina by calling her a battle-axe, and is baffled why she won't return his phone calls. <juan31> continued his amazing streak of predicting 4 Firouzja wins after the games were over.

Can <amw> continue his torrid streak? Will the Bonus Ranker be the only competitive Ranker? What female player will <Diademas> insult next in hopes of catching her attention> What player will win a game next round that <juan> picks after the game is over? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other exciting questions. 7 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 7 Recap **
Clearly, the Rasputinesque psychological tricks of <Winky> were as good as advertised. <amw> pretended not to be concerned, and said he simply would continue making good picks, but in fact he had such a bad round I think he went backwards! Even after that, he still holds the lead in 3 Rankers. <chessmoron> took advantage of all the attention paid to the leaders and charged to the lead in Bonus Ranker.

In other news, the pressure proved too much for two of our competitors. <juan> and <Diademas> got into a wild brawl over unsubstantiated claims that Ferocious Ali had outside help. <OhioChessFan> bravely ran for help, hoping to find the 7' 6" <chessmoron>, but then <Count Wedgemore> calmly stepped in and settled things down.

In other news, all the competitors from Tata 2020 begged <wordfunph> not to visit their player pages. He has been a bit of a jinx lately, as every player page he goes to, that person has died right afterwards! And <Diademas> admitted his romance technique of insulting women was about as effective as his picks for this tournament. Between that and the MMA worthy fight with <juan>, he was so mentally deranged he made like 10 picks this round where he predicted draws and even wins in 1 or 2 moves! Such ridiculous picks can't possibly pay off.

Which two contestants will get in a cage match next? Who will be brave enough to break them up(Hint: Not <OCF>)? Can <chessmoron> build on his latest surge and continue working toward a gold? Will <amw> shrug off one bad round and continue his complete domination of this contest? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many captivating questions. 6 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.
