<amw> roared back after a short lull and is in the gold medal position for 3 Rankers. <chessmoron> reacted to the mocking of <OCF> and <Count> by getting the last 0 off the scoreboard, and roaring to the lead in Bonus Ranker. <OCF> and <Count> were properly chastened and vowed not to mock anyone ever again. Las Vegas determined the opening over/under on that was 1 day.

In other news, <wordfunph> is mocking the entire roster of competitors in the ChessBookie contest. He is still leading the rest of those losers, which proves his awe-inspiring confidence is justified. That's the kind of competitive spirit we don't see enough of any more. In another clever move, <WinKing> congratulated <amw> for already wrapping up the gold medals up for grabs here. It was a cleverly designed attempt at reverse psychology, where <Winky> hoped to get <amw> to relax and let everyone else catch up. Kudos to <Winky> for the effort. Sports fans were shocked when <Pengo> affirmed if he was a Major League Baseball owner, he would gladly sacrifice his manager, star player, and first born son in a volcano in order to win a World Series ring.
