I've been cold recently. Hopefully I can start an improvement. :) Lastly, about my puzzle.
White to move. Mate in 6.
click for larger viewHint 1: The first move is a knight move.
Hint 2: Watch your tempo. In knight endings, it is important to watch your tempo, because then you might have to retreat. Hint 3: No more hints! ;)
Solution comes out Tuesday March 13th, 2012 in the evening. |

Sighs. :(
Also, <IF> I bet Round 9, here's what I would bet. European Women's World Championship: Rd 9: Muzychuk vs Foisor
=125,Draw
=25,Muzychuk
European Women's World Championship: Rd 9: Khurtsidze vs Cmilyte
=125,Draw
=25,Khurtsidze
European Women's World Championship: Rd 9: Gunina vs Kosintseva T
=125,Draw
=25,Gunina
Let's see if I would profit, lose, or be neutral. |

Not a good idea to bet that big when the total handle otherwise is c$75. You don't merely ruin your own odds - you trample and stomp on them until there's nothing left but a dirty patch on the floor :-) |

 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: <Penguincw> You're very good at predicting the right outcomes, and your betting system plays into that strength, which is good :) But ChessBookie isn't just about predicting the outcomes. |

Previous Fact: Penguincw chessforum. Fact #3
< "Penguins have stout upright bodies covered in black-and-white feathers." > < "Their black backs and white bellies help to camouflage the birds as they swim. When seen from below penguins appear white, blending into the light sky, but when seen from above they blend into the dark sea water." > < "No one knows for sure where penguins got their strange name from, but it may come from the Latin word for 'fat', which is 'pinguis'." > < Makes sense. Also, maybe that explains all the waddling. Penguins may be fat, but can they be tall? Also, note that I'll be changing the format, trying to figure out which one is the best. Lastly, I made an error on saying it was going to be on the 9th. The next fact, will be on Tuesday March 13th, 2012. > |

 | | LoveThatJoker: <Penguincw> Wow! Kramnik vs Topalov, 2003 was incredible! Thanks for having pointed me in that direction. The fact that that game was played blindfold clearly demonstrates the astounding chess genius of Kramnik, eh? I found some mini-analysis on this game in a chessbase.com webpage while the tournament was taking place. I pasted it on the comments section of the game.

There should really be an add friend option i think:)Or perhaps it is premium-members only? >For premium members, there's something similar. It's called the "Favourite List". You add users to your favourite list, and you can see their posts by a colour by default (I chose blue). You can also see whether they're online or not, as well as approx. to where their last visit, and last kibitz. |
