OhioChessFan: I think a note in chessgames.com forum saying something like "Annie has recently moved on. We thank her for her years of work on the site." would be well received. I understand if you think the departure was unpleasant enough to preclude that.

Pardon me?

'something like "Annie has recently moved on. We thank her for her years of work on the site."'

You demand (still no info out in the wild) a positive written job reference from an employer to its 'former' employee who has been leaving head over heals without further notice - or you being sarcastic bec 'moving on' is quite a good catch?

Leaving few 'loud' premiums openly speculating and putting their agenda in Susans dead son's mouth while spilling tea on site, staff and whoever they dislike. All while the other 300 more or less active daily site users didn't even notice a difference at all. Much obliged.

And who says the persona is gone for good this time and not starting another comeback as highly motivated 'suitably qualified' lead CG CEO soon?

Susan Freeman: <OCF> I was only two weeks post op after a difficult, long and risky surgery, but that is my personal business .( I needed help to get out of bed and get dressed). Slowly getting better every day. Then this childish behavior over a personal vendetta? There is no place for that. And to leave me high and dry? I own CG. Any insults will not be taken personally by me or any of my staff. And that goes for any praise too. I , and my employees will deal with matters with an even hand, or they will be terminated. . I think my silence speaks for itself. Now I am hoping the loyal members and selfless editors will pitch in. Nobody is indespebsible

I hope you continue to recover without any issues. Surgery can be tough. I've had a few myself. It can be very difficult to stay on top of business after surgery! In my experience, a sensible combination of both rest and exercise seemed to speed recovery along.

Susan Freeman: Thank you <BP>. I mentioned that I wish Annie well. On the homepage.

Yes. Surgery is rough.
My exercise is very limited due to lower back fusions that need to heal Lotta pins, rods, cadaver bones, nails, paper clips, chewing gum etc.

I wish I could go back to the gym. That is months away.

I must say the recent events At CG blindsided me.

I consider this a learning opportunity
😊😊😊

Thank you again 😊

As a decade long repeat offender, I doubt it.

Oct-07-20  Ybr: <ogin:

I whistled several of Keyser Soze's similar phrased racist slurs towards Indians in general weeks ago on Rogoff. To zero effect, once I checked even the posts remainded untouched. Instead the user is jumping around like a teenager on steroids seemingly 'enjoying' posting his ill worldviews and feeling invicible - now bragging about imaginative 'powers' to ban users. Quite odd.>

That settles it then

You guys won't see me on this site again.

Thank you , <login>

Yup. I put him on ignore as soon as I realized it was <NOZZLE> aka <Nisjesram>.

What he does is he goes around the site trolling people in their own personal forums until they lash out at him. Then he goes and tries to get them suspended by ratting them out. I can't see his posts, but I take it he's in here trying to manipulate <Susan>. Oh well, he's been trolling the site for 12 years, why stop now?

Oct-08-20  Ybr: <susan freeman><. I , and my employees will deal with matters with an even hand, >

With even hand ?

What does that mean <susan>?

Does that mean dispassion and unfairness or

Does that mean dispasdion as well as fairness?

If fairness then either there should be action against <keyser soze> or i should also be allowed to hurl that kind of abuses at <keyser soze> with impunity - including racist abuses

What do you say to this , <susan> ?

Thank you . Regards.

<Susan> i like some of your conversations which are as mature as the conversations of sages of highest order .....inspirational

I learn feom them and practice them

After reading this post of yours , i renewed my resolve to refrain from what you call <childish behavior over personal vendetta >

Thank you for those words <susan>

Regards.

Jan-10-21  realdumptrump: Just want to point out the obvious, but the recent deleted thread is an example of dog-packing - a tactic used to get an unpopular post deleted. (*)

Basically, the pack reacts to an unpopular post by swarming, and abuse-polluting, the forum - forcing the administrators to delete the entire thread.

Including the original post - which, no matter it's tone and validity, is sullied by the low-brow discourse introduced by the pack.

This tactic is used deliberately, often, and effectively, on <CG>.

This post itself will likely be a casualty.

We have some important issues to discuss concerning what is to be allowed on <CG>, and what kind of community and website it is, or will be.

(*) It's really a form of censorship itself, much like the calls for deleting <Rogoff> are.

Jan-10-21  George Wallace: Hi Susan, I just want to point out the obvious, that <cancel culture> has come to <CG> with <demands> from certain posters, like <realdumptrump>, an account which is a sock of <Zanzibar's>, who continually harass site ownership to <cancel> others they don't agree with.

This non-stop pressure to CANCEL opposing viewpoints is a tactic that is used deliberately, often and effectively on <CG>.

At one point, <Zanzibar> gave <Daniel> an ultimatum. <Daniel> would either submit to his pressure on who to cancel, who to ban, who to suspend, or he (Zanzibar) was going to leave the site for good.

<Daniel> ignored him and <Zanzibar> went and pouted like a little boy for a while on his little silent protest. Then, because he made such a big stink about his ultimatum, he didn't have the balls to come back to <CG> with his <Zanzibar> handle so he made a whole bunch of sock accounts and started to spam the forums with them.

And here he is today, working his way up to giving you the same ultimatum.

<Susan>, you come across as weak and easily manipulated because of one reason. You said, clearly, forcefully, that you were going to delete the Rogoff page and then you didn't.

You caved in to the pressure from the antifa libs on that page. They manipulated you and you fell for it. Now look. You have to deal with the same antifa libs filling up your <support forum> full of meaningless personal gripes about other posters they choose to argue with.

If you had done as you said you would do and close the Rogoff, then none of this would be happening right now.

And I would also like to point out the obvious, that <george wallace> (aka <big pawn>) has created the poster <ohioliberalfan> in order to have discussions with himself on the <rogoff> page, in violation of guideline #7.

Evidence?

It seems to me that <Ohio Chess Fan> created that hilarious sock and is having fun with it. Perhaps he can let us know.

<Saffuna>, you are not going to get good old <George Wallace> canceled.

It appears to me that <Susan> isn't too excited about cancel culture since she's more libertarian than pinkpussyhat antifa lib.

  saffuna: <Evidence?>

Do you deny it, <george wallace>?

It seems only too obvious.

<<Saffuna>, you are not going to get good old <George Wallace> canceled.>

I have no intention. Canceling you Alpha Male Hero Donald Trump is enough. But it is against the rules to create a sock puppet account to create the impression of consensus of support, which is what you have done.

Jan-10-21  George Wallace: < saffuna: <Evidence?> Do you deny it, <george wallace>?

You have to have the evidence if you are going to make a public accusation. So where is your evidence?

Tell you what, let's make a bet!

If I win, you leave the site and never post here again, and that includes making socks. If you win, the same goes for me.

I will allow <Susan> to say whether or not <ohio liberal fan> is me or not. She can tell by the IP address as it is often logged in the back end of websites.

That is, I'm allowing her to speak on an issue that is kept 100% private by site policy. We are not asking <Susan> to say who <OLF> is. No, that would be a violation of privacy. But I am giving her permission to <OUT ME> if it is true.

Got a deal?
