Yeah, best chance if you're willing to risk a thousand dollars.

Domdaniel: The three-L lllama may be Welch
The four-L llllama is a belch...
Aug-22-16  TheFocus: A five-L lllllama is good for a pundit.

But a six-L llllllama is so redundant.

Annie K.: I think a six-l llllllama should be written as Vlama. ;p
Aug-22-16  Abdel Irada: ∞

I think a seven-L lllllllama can be regarded as a conflagration.

Perhaps I should apologize for starting this avalanche of limericky.

Nah.

  offramp: <zanzibar: < A wonderful opening is the Pelikan,>>

Starts off really well!

<It fits the bill of the Sicilikan,>

Then it gets better!

<In the center a fighting break, Who cares a bit a square gets weak, >

Then gets a bit word-salady ...

<Damned fun not knowing if the win I can.>>

Followed by a triumphant finish. 8/10!

Aug-23-16  zanzibar: Thanks <offramp>, I agree...

From the center's fighting beak,
Attacking wings, d6's not weak,

Olympics much? :)

Break a rhyme for weak? I'm offended,
For this <zanzy> should be suspended!
I won't blow the Whistle
So no need to bristle,
But I have to admit I am tempted.

Alas, a sophomoric quorom
Writ poetry so lame
Nar' a soul will take the blame
Forsooth, a violation of decorum

Aug-23-16  Boomie: <Annie and OCF>

Brilliant!

Of course, this is in Ohio's wheelhouse.

Ohio - "Forsooth"? Really?

We reject as merely a fable
That chess fans to rhyme are not able
But it happens at times
They resort to eye rhymes
That are simply quite unacceptable.

chessgames.com: <let us know if you are alive> I'm sorry for the unresponsiveness; I will post here shortly and address several issues.
Aug-24-16  zanzibar: <tga> well, having done the homage once already... not as many as last time.

That is, unless <CG> adds some more goat avatars!

Aug-25-16  Appaz: On the topic of sanity, you might want to clean up Odd Lie a little.

Aug-25-16  Bobby Fiske: About time to open a thread for the upcoimng World Chess Championship Match between Carlsen and Karjakin.

Date and venue is set, and already there are several things to discuss and adress!

Aug-25-16  zanzibar: <Chessgames> I know some users have multiple accounts on <CG>.

Is there a way, independent of these users telling us, when such a situation exists?

I thing <CG> maybe should allow all users to understand such situations.
