| Nov-20-20 | | Big Pawn: <optimal play: <saffuna: Oh right, <optimal play>. Sure. If so, why can't any of us post at the <Free Speech Zone>?>> Why does this poster say <any of us>? There are libs posting there whenever they want, including today. There is a very short list of known trolls who aren't allowed there. The entire rest of the site is welcome. |

| Nov-20-20 | | optimal play: <saffuna: <We left at the end of July. The election was in November.> And the writing was on the wall.>
Well, as far as massive election fraud goes, there certainly were warning signs. But that had nothing to do with me or BP vacating Rogoff. <<I have advocated for you to be able to post on the Non-PC Free Speech Zone.>Guess I missed that...>

| Nov-20-20 | | Big Pawn: Just <LOOK> at how all these Antifa libs have trolled this <support forum> page to death. When they don't get their way, they throw themselves down on the floor, kicking and screaming, tearing down statues, smashing windows, looting and carrying on. Like spoiled children.
This whole thing, everything that is happening on this page over the last few days, is the reason the <Rogoff> page should be returned to chess and all HALF MILLION troll flame war comments deleted. Libs are welcome in the <Free Speech Zone>. I don't moderate it, so no trolling. Trolls are banned without warning. |

The woman in Queens Gambit was related to a school mate of my fiancé’s in Argentina. Small world. |

I recall BP’s were also inoffensive.

Apart from myself and BP there were others, although I can’t recall the specifics.> You can't recall specifics ? No, you are not interested in specifics - <nok> and i have spoonfed you those specifics repeatedly - over and over . You not interested in facts/truth. You interested in your narrative. They were not offensive ? Hmmm. Were they racist ? What did you say ? Racism does not exist ? Hmmm. Were they vile and abusive ? No ? Why don't you request <susan> not to delete your old posts when <nok> reposts them in this forum? Just saying :) regards |

 | | MissScarlett: <The Queen's Gambit is a boon for chess. Strike while the iron is hot!> <chess.com> are reporting 100,000 new members a day. How about <cg.com>? Also, a heads up on the Skilling Open, featuing Magnus and company, which starts tomorrow: https://chess24.com/en/read/news/na... I propose putting up a tournament forum today, or you could wait till Thursday. |

 | | chancho: Queen's Gambit was imo the best Chess series ever seen and hopefully, other stories like it are created in the future. Chess is a great game that has been long stereotyped as boring, (like watching paint dry) but it really exercises the mind's imagination as you continually practice it, and anyone can be creative in that sphere. People who never even moved a chess piece in their life and have seen it, are being inspired to take up the game. As Martha Stewart would say: <That's a good thing> |

| Nov-21-20 | | Ybr: < al wazir: <saffuna: Unless the righties return with some new fantasies, this page will just be a bunch of people more or less agreeing among ourselves.>
You're wrong about that>
Then rogoffland should not be nuked
<saffuna: Any level of disagreement among the people remaining (<ocf> excepted) compared to the past five years will be like CSpan vs. Rush Limbaugh.> Fine , nuke rogoffland then. No need to give opportunity once again to nasties to come here and display their racism , vileness and abusiveness again. We already have seen enough of that in the past. Game over. Nuke the rogoffland. Time to move on. Time to move on to sanity and decorum. Nightmare of trump times is over. Time to nuke rogoffland. And then cg.com can start a new kibitzer cafe for politics when it is ready to ensure what <saffuna> urged like - <remove racist/ vile posts immediately> |

| Nov-21-20 | | thegoodanarchist: <Check It Out: <<<tga: I can usually tell from posting styles. Some people have very distinct styles - they can't conceal their identities to save their lives.>>> What's your opinion on <George Wallace>'s style? ... The fact that you asked him at all leads me to believe you probably suspect it, else you wouldn't have asked.> While your belief is plausible, it is also erroneous. I asked <BP> because <mickmac>, or whatever his name is, claimed there was a new sock account posting on Rogoff. That is what prompted my question. At the time, not only had I not read any of the alleged sock posts, I didn't even know the user name of the sock. Why? Because I quit the Rogoff page, quit following it. The only reason I posted there within the last few days is because I thought it was going to be shut down, and I wanted one last banter session. (It's fun!) |

<Susan Freeman> <Chessical>, one of our most expert and prolific volunteer editors, needs the ability to edit games in the <Tournament Index>. He has been tirelessly researching and creating valuable games collections, which we then vote in to the <Tournament Index>. At present, he is forced to ask other editors to help correct some of his work, because you have not enabled him to have the power to edit events once they are in the tournament index. Here is <Chessical's> latest post mentioning this issue: Biographer Bistro (kibitz #21436) Please bring this man in to the full editing fold. We need him to have full powers that are commensurate with his prodigious work rate. |

 | | Susan Freeman: Hi <Jess>
Steve is going to get on this tomorrow.
He hadn’t done the tournament part yet.
Also, he wants to make sure all the bugs 🐜 out with the current functionality before adding too many people. I am sure <chessical> will be a great asset! We need such passion. PS this starts Thanksgiving week here in the US. Things are traditionally slow. Unfortunately, we are not supposed to celebrate with any more people than our nuclear family. Thanksgiving has always been the perfect time to start family arguments, and that saves substantially on Christmas presents. 😜
That was my strategy anyway. Lol |
