Jul-25-21  rbd: <george wallace><both sides have been peronally attacking each other for a decade and we come there every day for it.>

Speak for yourself. You may come everyday to rogoffland for personal attack - that candid confession is appreciated.

However , there are many mature persons there too who care for conversations with clarity/depth of understanding and that is the kind of analysis they come there for . They dislike venomous noise of "us vs them" ,

They tolerate you and never pay you back for the insults that you throw because it is beneath them to stoop to such a low level to hurl that kind of insults. They silently tolerate/endure you.

It should not be like that. It does not have to be like that.

Some of the people get tired of your abusive , vile bullying and they pay you back and then your brothers in arms start weeping and playing victim - that is what happened last time. Your brother in arm <keyser soze> gloated like <i will fix <nisjesram> because he paying us back for our insults. We can not have that. You people are supposed to tolerate our abusive , vile , venomous bullying quietly>

So <keyser soze> blew whistle , post of <nisjesram> was deleted and you people started gloating. Then <nisjesram> blew whistle , your posts were deleted and you people ran away from rogoffland , threw fit/tantrum , cursed <annie k> and threatened to leave rogoffland .

Jul-25-21  rbd: <george wallace><both sides have been peronally attacking each other for a decade and we come there every day for it.>

I repeat - <keypusher> is a right winger and he often criticizes policies of far left at rogoffland. However , he never throws personal attacks , he has 'friendly' /civil/respectful conversations with people on left , he never plays "us vs them"

And he too finds abusive, vile, venomous bullying of <george wallace>/<big pawn> repugnant.

perfidious: <Susan....Now, I referred to <Stonehendge> as <Stone>. Why? because it is shorter. a nick name of sorts. No offense intended....>

No harm meant on this one.

Now if one were to refer to this fine contributor as <Stoner>, he would have every right to be offended. (laughs)

Jul-25-21  Messiah: When will the live game coverage return?
Jul-25-21  nok: <Now, I referred to <Stonehendge> as <Stone>. Why?>

There's a big round stone in his avatar.

I call him <Stoned Hedgefund>. Am I banned or do I win a bun?

For that bit of punatry you probably deserve both, and a cuff:

What do they do at daylight savings time?

Check It Out: <CG, Susan, etc al>

Are you guys even monitoring the game of the day?

"Safety pin..." again???

What a joke.

Jul-26-21  Z truth 000000001: Et tu brute?

<I hear Sisyphus is looking for help on the weekends.>

Decidedly political, and pleasantly surprising, actually decipherable (for once).

Jul-26-21  Z truth 000000001: And could <CG> restore <whiteshark>'s forum posts?

After all, it was open before <CG> closed it.

And let's give credit where credit is due - <CIO> (<Check It Out>) was exceptionally generous in restoring his premium privileges, partially to allow such access.

It appears to have changed.

Jul-26-21  Z truth 000000001: <CIO> funny, when <Annie K> was here, he f-ups were less but the complaints were louder and more strident.

Maybe it's a war of attrition?

Susan Freeman: <Z truth> Better to not overthink these things. :)
Jul-27-21  rbd: Well, usual suspects are running amok in rogoffland - personal attacks galore.

If things do not change , then i too will follow <sokrates> in leaving the site.

  Susan Freeman: bye bye
Jul-27-21  rbd: Today , itself , once again , i am called <brown turd> by the same people.

I neither want to retaliate nor i want to tolerate.

So , i am leaving this site.

Jul-27-21  diceman: <rbd:

i am leaving this site>

Bye

Jul-27-21  George Wallace: I saw this cryptic message <bye bye> and couldn't see who it was directed to, so I logged out so I could see if it was someone on the ignore list and sure enough...

Just for the record, rbd used to be <nisjesram> and he is the site's worst troll and has a very long history of personal attacks.

<Nisjesram: Filthy moron <jessicafischerqueen> ran away like a scalded dog.>

<nisjresram: You see <saffuna> - this idiot <jessicafischerqueen> has some deep psychological scars.>

<<jessicafischerqueen> , i told you that you are an idiot and you should talk ti idiots like <thegoodanarchist> and <big pawn> only.

Court jester , listen carefully now.>

And that's just <JFQ> AKA Jessica Tunafish Queen.

By the way, <Big Pawn> was always nice to <Jessica Tunafish Queen> until she took off the gloves and called him <Big Prawn> and then sunk even lower, calling him <Braised Prawns> (plural is offensive).

However, she was never suspended for BULLYING <bp> when she called him <Big Dish of Braised Prawns, with a hint of Lemon on the Side>

Clearly, that is too far.

Yes, there is a very long and interesting history to this website. <Tpstar> was the KING of site history, may he RIP.

Jul-27-21  optimal play: <Nozzle the Parrot: i am leaving this site.>

No great loss.

It's not like you ever contributed anything in the way of chess.

Quite frankly I doubt you even know how to play the game.

All you have ever done on this site is make a nuisance of yourself.
