Jan-08-24  stone free or die: I can't help but note that the <Balestra Mate>, aka <Balestra M>, can now be found on the printed page in this romantic(!) novel:

<Secret Weapon: A Romantic Thriller By Elise Noble>

https://books.google.com/books?id=4...

Jan-08-24  Zoo Boo Bear: I can't wait for the movie!
Jan-08-24  Rdb: <fredthebear> , I have a question for you , if you please - once upon a time , when I had not yet imbibed teachings of jesus 'sufficiently ' and was an 'ill mannered' person and used to harass you , then you showed such forgiveness and maturity towards me that only a true Christian can show. You turned the other cheek , so to speak , in face of the insolent , harassing behaviour of mine . Your grace , maturity , magnanimity , forgiveness moved me and as a result , I am a different person now.

So , as you transformed me acting as a true Christian, why are you not able to transform other harassers of yours whoever they are , I wonder , if you please .

Thank you . Regards 🙏🙏

  fredthebear: That's easy.

You must be smarter than all the rock puppets here about combined. Notice how the rockiez want to follow and copy fredthebear, here, there, everywhere; even change their phony name to boo bear, so there's a glimpse of hope in the air.

FWIW, reading and quoting romantic novels will surely help improve stoke's starved-for-love-and-attention chess knowledge. Do you suppose Elise will pay the BIG PRETENDER inventor copyright fees? All the more reason to carry on az a master of folly.

Let's not dwell on this for long. FTB could be wrong! Or, maybe I'm just wearing a thong hence my dong wanted to hear a different song from days long gone. Here's one from Stone Cold Country: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pq6...

Now, see how that lightened the mood for all concerned?

Of course, zanzibar will pipe in and say "You cannot say that about me, but I can say whatever I want about you! I'm entitled to."

It's double standard or die.

MissScarlett: Is there any reason not to delete this player? Kevin Martin McDonald

chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #41311)

There are at least a thousand reasons not to delete Mr. McDonald. FTB has gathered some.

First of all, Old McDonald had a farm. This starving world needs ALL the farmers we can get. American farmers feed the world (about 300 people per farmer)!

What's the standard for dismissal? Do we have a standard?

Mr. McDonald is a still-active player whose game pages have elicited some interest from our CGs members. Let's keep such players, and get rid of the players that have losing records and spawn little or no interest.

Instead of Mr. McDonald, here are worthy clunkers (a hasty list that likely has a few pullbacks, but not many):

Brian W Williamson or Matthew R Wilson or Edit Lendvai or Paul D L Barasi or Andrea Rovai or George Ainsworth or Gordon McManus or Daniel Mohnblatt or Jean de Lagontrie or Les Whittle or Saredo Elmi Waberi or Sylvio Prudent or
Divania Spinola or Kore Ettu or Kristoffer Wang Stromhaug or Paul Kent or Romain Christophe-hayot or Aryan Banerjee or Hans Peter Reutimann or Michael J Gunn or
Per Tveten or
Noella Mugisha or Sarah Noelle Ayouma Odounga or Paul Haddock or Mark C Pooley or
Alois Scholl or
Wael Elias or Marinel Miu or
Dildarav Lishoy Gengis Paratazham or Yassine Sentissi or Dipak K Shah or Percival Humble or Sarah Kamara or Bang or Doll or Dirk Sikkel

fredthebear: Continuation RE: Kevin Martin McDonald

chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #41311)

Samuel Alcindor or Monika Neumanova or David Jess Linjord or David Jess Linjord or Terje Lie or Habibulla Aghalarov or Jake Hung or
Istvan Bernula or
Elfelo Eklas or Ole-Kristian Nergard or Tobi Felix or Sarah Noelle Ayouma Odounga or Josefa Spychala or Michael J Dean or Andrew Collins or Snorre Rygg

or Geoff R Hermes or Kristoffer Madland or Lovina Sylvia Chidi or Sergei Denisik or Panagiotis Konstantinou or Albert Vasse or Andreas Bang or Per Tveten or Juan Campos Calvo-Sotelo or Javier Baeza Escudero or Monika Neumanova or Tallulah Roberts or
Marie-Ange Moustache or Dominik Szurgot or Mohamed Ali Samiro or
Jake Modica or Didier Dalschaert or James S Macrae or Jose Manuel Garcia Serrano or
Salimo Nidat or Nema Rabab Ahmed or Emil Muri or Joel Storme or Levi Dror or Len Cotter or Daniel J Staples

I think you'll agree that Mr. McDonald has produced more interest than the above players. If CGs must get rid of somebody, let's get rid of the clunkers of which there are many -- this haphazard list is just the tip of the iceberg.

FWIW, there were a few struggling players that I came across who were personally known to members in days gone by. Such players should be kept, as should anyone rated above 2000, and anyone still active.

Jan-14-24  Messiah: I think the deletion of the following:

perfidious: Why delete McDonald? Even under the quite arbitrary criteria pushed by a poster who is very clearly looking to go on a scorched earth mission with removal of players, there is no reason for this.

Why you want my account to be deleted ? I abide by all the rules/guidelines of this site. I am civil to everyone including you..
