Annie K.: Well, it was my fault it didn't start on time. Glad we managed to catch the end of the game at least.
Apr-29-19  john barleycorn: <offramp>, your distinguished sense of humour is always appreciated (at least in certain parts of Germany).

<Annie> Thank you! Especially thanks for such detailed information, that is very helpful.

Apr-29-19  rogge: <Cg>, at last you're doing a good job with the troll who's trying to destroy the site (you know who I mean). Better late than never. Actions like this might encourage people to renew their premium memberships :)

OhioChessFan: No, if it was perfect, it would have addressed the cheap freeloader who wishes to use bandwidth, and appeal to the person supplying the bandwidth, but not pay for it.
Apr-29-19  Boomie: I guess it's already been mentioned but it is worth repeating. Where is the Shenzhen Masters?

FSR: <Sargon> You have the wrong game as Game of the Day ("Kill or Be Killed"). It's supposed to be J Krassowizkij vs M Kill, 2017.
Apr-30-19  rogge: Exactly right, <ocf>. People have become freeloaders, and some even left the site because of your troll friend :)

Apr-30-19  centralfiles: User: kwid <Kurt Widmann> has not visited in a month. I think that's rather a very long time for him to be away. Can you check his history and see if it's happened beofre? I am worried not all is well with him.

Given that last year's edition Shenzhen Masters (2018) was added less than four weeks aga, I wouldn't be too optimistic.

Annie K.: Problem solved: Shenzhen Masters (2019) We'll have it linked on the homepage soon too. :)

<centralfiles> I'm afraid I don't believe that a member staying away from the site for any reason, or time, justifies us unilaterally giving out information on them. Since you know his name, please use more conventional channels to get in touch with him or his family.

May-01-19  centralfiles: <Annie> He is well known member. A former canadian correspondence champion. From his posts a few months back it was pretty clear he was suffering from a terminal disease. I don't have a way of personally contacting him or his family. My intent here was simply to bring the matter to your attention so you could look into it if you deemed t necessary.

OhioChessFan: I have to agree with Annie here. If I was an admin, my response would have been nearly the same.
May-01-19  centralfiles: Would it be too much to send him an E-mail just making sure all ok?
May-02-19  whiteshark: <centralfiles> A company concerned/worried about its customers would do that.

Hello, Kurt Widmann, you haven't been on our website for a month already....Some members have expressed their concern about your health.... We hope you are well...Let us hear from you...

in such a way

That shouldn't be too hard, should it?

moronovich: That should be the way to do it.
May-02-19  sonia91: <cg.com> Why was Carlsen's name bolded even before Grenke was finished, but Kashlinskaya, winer of the European Women's Championship, isn't? Also all previous events in homepage has the winner's name bolded, except the Euopean Women's.
