jessicafischerqueen: <Harry> it's made me sad too, not to mention more cranky than usual, if that's possible.

However <Travis> is the best judge of what he wants to do or not do- but I do hope he comes back and reopens his forum. As I said earlier, it really is a catastrophic loss for this website.

  jessicafischerqueen: <pgp> Congratulations to <Mrs. pgp>!

That's fantastic. Please let her know that I'd really like to see her video. I like cat videos, especially if they involve squab as well.

May-20-12  twinlark: Dmitry Jakovenko fyi. I know he's contemporary but interesting anyway.

jessicafischerqueen: That's quite a resume and well organized <Doggimus>. No slouch eh? <Jakovenko> is ranked number 18 in the world, that's something. Isn't that higher than <Gelfand>?

QUESTION: do the current World Championship match games count on FIDE ratings calculations?

May-20-12  twinlark: They do.
May-20-12  brankat: <twinlark> I've just left a note for You at A.A.Alekhine's place. I hope it will be of some help.
May-20-12  brankat: <jessicafischerqueen> I went through just a few posts on this current page and noticed some "commotion" regarding Bobby's games' collections. Since I've missed a lot of action of late and am not familiar with the latest CG.com "developments", including scandals, I wonder: What happened? Thank You.

jessicafischerqueen: <branko> well as usual your guess is as good as mine. A member spent a lot of time and shared a great deal of his research with the community by constructing a comprehensive list of Bobby Fischer games collections. They are listed in my profile, but they are all blank now.

Turns out he'd gotten into an argument with some people, and then decided that he would go home and "take his balls with him."

So then <Mr. Owls> saved the day by emailing me the games collections, which he had archived "just in case."

I doubt any of this qualifies as a scandal, but if it does, I'd direct any and all inquiries to my lawyer, <hms123>.

Although he has a lot on his plate at the moment, he's about to appear in his briefs at the Nashville Court of Appeal in the notorious "Justin Socks" murder trial.

May-20-12  crawfb5: That's not what he told me. He called the trial "Justin Thyme," which he said would be the trial of the season. Seems anise, Ginger, kept peppering her Uncle Herb about due dill-egence on behalf of her mother, Rosemary, who was allegedly being abandoned by some guy named McHale, who ran off to join the navy. Herb was reluctant to sue-Mac, so the trial grinds on. It seems to be the flavor of the month, but it seems all rather bland to me. I guess there's no accounting for taste.
May-20-12  hms123: <jess> It is a scandal. Please send my retainer directly to the <Matted Elk Justin Summertime> winery. They will apply it to my bill...erm...I mean they will send on what's left.

  kingscrusher: Hi Jessica

I hope you are still keen to update my Youtube Master Player playlists - I am keen right now to do a few more Nakamura wins - as he won the US championship.

Is it possible to use the Quick sort option on this playlist by Views :

http://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

There is a new Quick sort option on editing the playlist so it can be auto-sorted by View count.

Also please could you add the recent Naka videos - I will try and help promote and emphasise this Naka playlist.

I put a link to your playlists on the top right of my channel using that links section thing on Youtube.

Cheers, K

May-20-12  playground player: <Jessicafischerqueen> Sorry, Jess--there is no way I can persuade <Mrs. PGP> to let me send you her video. She actually blushes when I mention it. Oh, well...

May-21-12  Boomie: <Jessie>

I think we are all still in shock over Gelpack's crushing victory over Bananathan.

After much thought over a 2 minute period, I placed 200 CBs on Anand to win with 100 on the Petrov and a hedging 100 on the Sicilian.

I'm guessing that Bananga has to play e4 now. Although Gello Gelatin knows the Petrov as well as anyone, I like Guarand in open positions.

Any thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves.

May-21-12  Alien Math: <jessicafischerqueen> Glad to know of you can start rebuilding all the lost Fischer collections. Hope all are well, until again

harrylime: Jess re <Trav> can you try and persuade him to re open ?

Hey I've just played thru one of the poorest World championship games I've seen! What a joke this match is!

The 12 game format is also a joke for the Chess World Championship .. but not in this case.. I'm grateful it's only 12 games.

What must Carlsen be thinking playing thru this game??!

jessicafischerqueen: <branko> he would also have adored <Jinko Balboa> unless the DNA test hadn't proved it wasn't Bobby's offspring.

I think that woman should be hanged for making such a stink that they actually dug Bobby out of the ground.

The Yoko Ono of chess.
