My, my ,my , how little we know. I don't need JFQ to test my secret formula because I have the great scientific mind working on it. (that's moi).

Pretty soon I'll release it to the world and then you can say, "I knew TD before he was famous!"

<"I knew TD before he was famous!">

Can't I already say that now?

Apr-05-11  technical draw: <Can't I already say that now?>

Yes, you probably can, but maybe you should wait until I'm famouser.

Apr-05-11  TheFocus: <Jess> Queen of <CG>. I want you to know how much I appreciate your profile and all the support you have given me, but I have to come to the following decision. I don't know when I will be back.

Lately, <CG> is beginning to resemble the old chat rooms at AOL. Remember them?

You couldn't go into a Jewish chat room without some Christian or Muslim prick coming in to tell you were going to Hell; you killed Jesus; no need to be kosher; no need to follow the Law; etc. (Actually the Christians were the main trouble-makers, bt sometimes a Muslim sleazed his way in).

This is what some of the pages here are like with the flame wars that <CG> Admin is either unable or unwilling to control.

And I have been involved in some very heated arguments. And each time, you sense a draining of your joy at coming here. It is like wading through a sewer. So I do have to say to anyone who had the witness some of the flame wars I was involved in, I apologize that your eyes got hurt.

I am done here. I'll still come in to do my research, but <Focus> will no longer make any posts. I am shutting my Forum down by the weekend. Maybe sooner. Maybe today.

There are a lot of good people in here and I enjoy my time with them, but I am done.

Shalom and aloha!

Akiva

Apr-05-11  TheFocus: <Jess> Please ignore that last post. <TD> convinced me to give it another go.

Besides, I think he needs me around to write his material.

Apr-05-11  LIFE Master AJ: << Apr-04-11 jessicafischerqueen: <AJ> I just read the last email you sent me- What a truly wonderful message it was. Straight as an arrow. >>

Please understand ... all I was trying to do was relieve any fears or unease that you had ... and was not necessarily trying to "set you straight."

Love ya kid, I really do. (platonically) I really admire the work that you do. I think there is a place for both of us on the Internet. In particular, your latest chess video's have been absolutely fantastic. Darn good. Really outstanding! And I say that in absolute (unreserved) sincerity.

I think we are both real chess fans, I really do sense this. We look at a game by Fischer or Rubinstein (just two examples) and we experience a sense of awe and admiration ... just as most people would feel when viewing a magnificent painting / sculpture / (or) play.

Of course, both Fischer and Rubinstein were true genius's of the game ... and sadly both had real mental quirks or problems, especially towards the ends of their respective careers.

Good analogy / chess philosophy ... and it works for me.

I will use Shakespeare ... in the hopes that no one will be offended.

I am sure that the people of his time thought him a liberal nut ... or even much worse. His politics were uncertain, however he did have a way of revealing human traits and flaws that were uncanny.

Who says I have to like (or even agree) with his politics ... to enjoy his works?

NUFF SAID? QED/EOL

Your friend, ~ aj

jessicafischerqueen: <TheFocus> very sad to see your forum closed?

You are one of the most valuable members at this website.

Apr-08-11  Greengrass: <jessicafischerqueen> He left <CG>.

I know <TheFocus> personally, having met him once. But I lost his number and e-mail address and was hoping to hook up with him in here.

I will have to look him up in Hawaii when I next vacation there. Although that will not be for another year or so.

If anyone has his e-mail address, please let me know here (I am not a Premium member yet), or tell him to drop me a line. He knows me as Red Hawk.

jessicafischerqueen: <Greengrass> thanks for the information- I have no contact info for <TheFocus>.

However, I hope the administrators sit up and take notice that a VALUABLE member has left their website.

Maybe in future they will take more prompt action on obviously destructive members.

Checking the administrator forum more than once a week would be a good start.

Apr-08-11  technical draw: BTW <jessica> I didn't want to mention this since we were talking about important things like tediousnesses, shoe puppets, and Jack Daniels but I have to inform you...I PASSED YOU ON THE CHESSBOOKIE LEADERBOARD. Sorry these things happen; if you can't handle it seek professional help. Thank you.

jessicafischerqueen: <TD> I did notice- I even asked you for your secret betting secret in your forum today.

However, I have a TOP SECRET live bet that could net me millions.

I'll send another shortly.

TheAlchemist: <The Beatles couldn't hear themselves on stage 99% of the time>

I heard an anecdote where Ringo supposedly messed up a little during one song and when he apologized after the concert one of the others replied something like: "You were actually playing?"

Apr-09-11  Greengrass: <jess> I posted this elsewhere. I am posting this here also because you seem to be a friend of <TheFocus>. The friend of my friend is my friend too.

Yes, I have been looking through the posts in the Naka - Goldsby thread.

It was not <Lennonfan> that caused <TheFocus> to leave. It looks like <shach matov> and <KKDEREK> began continually attacking him after <Lennonfan> was put on probation, as if he (<TheFocus>) was to blame.

I have read through this thread and can clearly see that <shach> was the main one. If anything, <TheFocus> probably left out of disgust.

Perhaps, instead of continuing to fight, <TheFocus> should have reported this to he Administration. Maybe he did. I don't know.

At one point, I see that <shach matov> said that he had stalked after <TheFocus> to <humiliate> him for having pointed out that <SM> was wrong about something.

Sad. This is not the <TheFocus> that I know.

I am still trying to locate <TheFocus>. I have contacted family members of his who are passing on the word that I am searching for him. They would not give me his phone number as they seem to be VERY protective of him.

I was even met with hostility by them until I told them that I had some books he was trying to acquire.

Apr-09-11  technical draw: Greengrass is correct. TheFocus left because of his war with <shach matov>. <shach matov> is like a mini <LennonFan> Check out his war with <shivasuri4>.

As soon as I saw <TheFocus> tangle with <shach matov> I knew there would be trouble and I predicted that <TheFocus> would leave. <Shach> has the same style of relentless pursuit and gender changing and name calling as LF. I believe, though that <shach> is a sock puppet of another well known premium member . I'm working on that now. I know that <TheFocus> will read this so I say"Aloha!, come on in , the waters fine!"

Apr-09-11  achieve: <Jess> Thanks, and kudos to you as well for addressing the boys at their own forum. Let's see what happens.

A cable connection suddenly failed yesterday so I bought a new qwerty board (that's how I was told to call it in dutch, NOT a keyboard!) - and when i get my hands on a set of mini screw drivers I'll try and open and fix my old keyboard because it typed better. Larger size letters, just all in all more robust I think.

More on Jerry Lee Lewis (a bit) at my place. :)
