jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> Great to see you in here again and thank you.

I had a good laugh about the <Williamsonsonss> because it instantly made me think of the fine <Kostineva Sisters> and the five move draws they make when they play in the same tournament.

I have no doubt that your predictions about the Great Match will come true.

This is the first Championship Match in a long, long time that feels like something truly "historical" if that makes any sense.

This will be an important landmark in Chess History.

jessicafischerqueen: Well there will be in the future if the ether wills it so.

I'm fond of "Madam" only because you once called me that after I made an extended honking stink on the admin page, which included an hysterical quarrel with maybe the nicest guy at this website, until Daniel finally agreed to do something about the "big problem."

Ironically, perhaps, that first solution didn't work, but locking the game pages of the "big problem" certainly did work.

hehe he is now in deserved oblivion and the entire website is inestimably better for it.

Daniel is so tolerant that he inveterately gives people 2d and 3d chances, but I don't think he will ever unlock those games pages again.

jessicafischerqueen: Jinx just yesterday I saw the real user <NOK> kibbutzing on the Norway page.

It was a bit startling to see him as a 'real person' instead of just a handy blue word.

May-17-13  Lt.Columbo: Hello ah Jessica, I see you have a great passion er ah for the great Chess King ahh Robert James Fischer. Just between you and me I think he was the best also. Ahh for some reason I can't get this crazy song out of my head. So I got to thinking it's Friday night what the hell she's a music fan from what I ascertained so put this 1 on your turntable you just might like it. Another thing Ma'am your chess videos are really quite good!

OhioChessFan: John Fogerty cranking out Ooby Dooby. Fabulous music. On my dialup, but I can hear it in my head anyway. Might have to run for the CCR CD I have with that song on it.

OhioChessFan: Whoa........the CD starts out cranking Ramble Tamble. Purposely or not, a distorted lead guitar...I got to share this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtUR...

Before You Accuse Me. Travelin' Band. Then Ooby Dooby is fourth. Would it be sacrilege to skip those 2? NO! It would be honoring CCR's genius to rush to Ooby Dooby. Wow, what a drum roll. Cosmo could sure beat the drums. While I recognize The Who as the greatest band ever, CCR is my favorite band ever. Ooby dooby ooby dooby oooby dooby.........

The vast majority are One Day Wonders, but I suppose a few are handy for my purposes. I'd be shocked if I ever see <THE> posting. In any event, I am majorly glad <NOK> exists.

Doo doo doo lookin out my back door.

I like the organ tone especially. Or is it a piano? Organ I think.

That last one combines everything that happened and sums it up into an exquisite nikl noks joke.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Ohio>

Getting back to <Monkey Ranker> topics, I noticed something in another contest yesterday.

QUESTION: Given the recent (pathetic, lamentable, put your own adjective in) squabbling over "The Great White Hope" on the Norway page, could the

WHITER

and

BLACKER

rankers be racist?

I only have one clue so far. We can be sure <Nigel Short> doesn't think so, because on live broadcasts he refers to the white pieces as "The Honkies" and the black pieces as "The Brothers."

Ever heard of <Journey to the West>? Sun Wukong is the Monkey King.

jessicafischerqueen: <McLovin> They don't call you "legendary" for nothing.

It is indeed the name of the guy from the Monkey King book.

I just bought it from Amazon, but I'll have to wait till it arrives before I can read it.

I'd like to say that I purchased this book because of the raging controversy surrounding the infamous <Monkey Ranker>, but if I did I'd be lying.

In fact, in a totally unrelated incident, the lovely <Annie K> recommended the book to me yesterday, so I bought it.

That said, I still haven't read the other book I bought on <Annie's> recommendation, which I actually have in my apartment. It's a gripping Hungarian historical saga.

As GHOD is my witness, I meant to pack it on the airplane to read on my last visit to Canada.

But mysteriously I accidentally packed a biography of <Pink Floyd> instead.

They both have a mauve colored jacket, but the real reasons for this error may be darker than that.

Much darker.
