jessicafischerqueen: Well it's extra funny because it was right here at this website that he was driven off the entire internet.

Chessgames.com remains enthusiastic about this achievement.

How do we know? Because they granted a commemorative lifetime premium membership to the "My 61 games struggle" forum.

In addition, just before the end, someone posted a google image photo- with documentation of latitude/longitude and precise street address- of Trice's "mansion," which turned out to be a dump.

For these reasons, I regard your latest effort to be the crowning glory- so far- in the long short history of the CG.com BURMA SHAVE SIGN club.

Accepting the award for Boomie is Kenneth Rogoff.

jessicafischerqueen: <Tim> well it's still early days in the BURMA SHAVE SAGA, which is good news for the punters.

There'll be many more awards to come, one assumes.

Jul-18-11  Boomie: <Jesstickles>

Indeed. I am pleasantly surprised by the unbridled enthusiasm shown by the Little Shavers.

Perhaps I have created a monster.

LIFE Master AJ: Jess! I appreciate the post in my forum - as always.

Actually - you brought something to my attention.

The old "Geo-Cities" pages are still there ... but I am not allowed to update or change anything. (Most old "GC" sites were closed, why they are allowing my pages to continue is really strange - I don't understand this at all.) I have (now) moved that site to MY NEW DOMAIN ... A.J.'s Chess. (http://www.ajschess.com)

Could you PLEASE change your header? (Pretty please?)

******

Here are the new addresses:
Bobby Fischer analysis by <Life Master A.J. Goldsby>:

As you can see, # 2 is correct ... but no. one and no. three should be changed. OK? (Thanks!)

jessicafischerqueen: Nice one! And with sing along lyrics too.
Jul-18-11  fab4: Jess re The Stone Roses. I bought there eponymous album way back in 89' when almost no one had heard of them. I fell in love with it and in retrospect it did indeed go a long way towards shaping the 90's musicwise.

The song you mentioned on Trav's page was 'I wanna be adored' .. which when I first purchased the album back then I thought said ' I wanna be a Dog' .. lol..... Did'nt realise it was 'adored' until quite sometime later!

BTW I need a'filter' on CG's site to stop me making stupid posts.. But.. But ! You. You know I'm actually quite a nice chap . Don't you ? .. Don't you ??! lol

Hope all ok with you .

Jul-18-11  TheFocus: <jessicafischerqueen>< QUESTION:

I see the HBO logo on Benson's book there- does this mean that the rare photos were included in the HBO Fischer documentary?

They are great photos indeed if so- and I hope there are more of them than just those that went in the film.

Which I've now seen and I enjoyed it immensely.>

<jess> I picked Harry Benson's book this weekend. I have not seen the HBO special, but many of his photos did appear in that show. There are 115 photos in the book, and there are some beautiful shots.

Jul-18-11  TheFocus: <jess> I also just bought <Russian Sillowetz> by Zozonko, so ven I finish reading it, ve can discuss what you are dinking of yaskin me.

Soon, dear heart, soon.

jessicafischerqueen: <fab> I'm good thanks for asking.

Of course you're ok with me, why on earth wouldn't you be?

Yep STONED ROSES is good for sure. Who knew?

Hope you are ok too- lol if you hang out on Bobby's page you'd better get used to the ruckus.

I see the eternal "Bobby v. Garry" flame war has reignited.

We'd have to check with <tpstar> for verification but I think that war almost capsized the website back in the winter of Ought Two.

Before my time anyways.

These days, it seems Bobby page wars are not any threat to peace on the site as such.

Possibly because Bobby's page is like that first pool hall they hustle in "The Color of Money."

Paul Newman: "Word will never get out- those guys never leave the street."

Jul-20-11  fab4: I'm actually pretty good just now Jess. Getting used to being single again.. it has it's bonuses lol

Hey.. Re 'Colour of Money' .. you seen 'The Hustler' ? .. One of my fave movies.. Newman's defining role IMO..

The stuff on the Fischer pages is funny ! One can 'handle' it if one does'nt take it too seriously !

The Stone Roses were uber cool .. one album .. Just one album lol.. and they're immortal.

Jeez got loads to say but this is an open forum so will just say that I'm so glad you're ok .

Jul-20-11  TheFocus: <The stuff on the Fischer pages is funny ! One can 'handle' it if one does'nt take it too seriously !>

And of course, on the Fischer page, those two madcaps <Focus> and <shach matov> got together and threw more rocks at each other in another of their chat-fights.

Then they took it over to the Kasparov page where they sparred over some "fake quotes."

These guys, sheesh!

Jul-20-11  TheFocus: <jess> New Game Collection finished today.
