Hello all,
I joined CG as an administrator, editor & front-end developer. I will start helping CG with administrative/editor tasks such as making sure tournaments and their bio's are complete and up-to-date, reading forums to help list and prioritize tasks at hand.

False. I post on this site very sparingly , mostly I like to read - that advice of <wise old owl> that you quoted , unlike you I have been following that advice for a very long time.

Recently I posted when you crossed all limits in your lies against me and <stone free or die> and I posted to refute your lies , you had no answer to the refutations and you stopped lying against me for a week or so and in that duration I did not talk about you at all and then you started your nonsense again and I refuted again.

I focus on posts and not users unlike you.

Stop obsessing about <stone free or die> .

Pete, Steve, and Susan -

I believe we've been here before, with similar promises - so you'll have to allow my a healthy bit of skepticism - though I'll try to comply again.

I'm still not ready to move the discussion off the public forum yet, as there are several major points of discussion that have yet to be addressed, and they already suggest <CG>'s policy hasn't been fully fleshed out.

I will come back later on these issues, as <CG> has been informed of several of them, and should already taken steps to correct them.

One question I have is that of monitoring - I posted a notice showing how subtle trolling can be, and how hard it might be for <CG> to be effective.

Secondly, since <CG> is so challenged, I'm asking for restoration of my editing functions (you know which ones).

There are many instances of late where <CG> has adopted misguided (imo) non-publicized policies tailored to essentially accommodate one individual member's needs (or should that be misdeeds?).

Jun-04-23  stone free or die: And how about my <realdumptrump> account?

It never violated any <CG> policy.

This has persisted--if at a far lower and less strident rate than before--but the same passive-aggressive tone has persisted.

Then there is the matter of today's post, which has the same sort of vociferous demands for action as have many another emanating from that quarter for months now, as that poster gaslights while portraying himself as above reproach.

Jun-09-23  Rdb: <fredthebear><Yet ANOTHER never-ending attempt to manipulate the rules by the career troll attempting to pretend not to be a career troll, >

You have no right to insult <stone free or die> like that . Either substantiate your accusation and prove that <stone free or die> is a troll or apologize and retract your accusation.

In my case , I had shown that I had been ignoring you for a lot of days and yet you came begging for my attention and trolling me with very silly , nonsensical posts which hardly had any substance . All you were doing was trolling and that too without any intelligence whatsoever .

In my experience , it is always you who is a troll <fredthebear> and I have always found <stone free or die> rational and civil who does not want to bother any other user.

Chessical: Using the Olga game viewer (in Windows 10) is now very unpleasant as the pieces career in from the side of the board rather than sliding across the board smoothly.

It is effectively unusable, please could you look into this? Thank you.

I can verify from my end.

Jun-14-23  Rdb: <fredthebear: It's June, almost half the year is gone. This is apparently the First Reasonable Chess post the mega poster Rdb has made in 2023. If there are other useful chess posts, prove me wrong.>

I am sure you have some point - spell it out please .

Meanwhile , let me point out that your buddy <colonel motimer> never makes a chess post.

Yesterday , your buddy <mort> made 8 consecutive posts and about 20 in total . May be more , may be 30 , may be 40.

All on rogoff forum.

There are other things about posts of <mort> which may put you in very , very bad light but that for some other time.

Now , put up or shut up , <fredthebear> , with due regards.

Jun-18-23  Rdb: <diceman: <plang: One of the problems the Republicans have right now is that they have staked out some extreme positions on issues (for instance abortion) that are not shared by the vast majority of the country. <diceman> , you calling people <buffoon> all the time.

Enough is enough. This has to stop.

I am reporting.

Jun-22-23  Rdb: Is there anyone who not happy with team <petemcd85>/<stevemcd87>/<Susan freeman> ? Show of hands please.

Not a single hand.

So , perhaps there are only two guys who keep complaining .

And now , perhaps , they too have stopped complaining . They too are satisfied now , it seems.

Conclusion : everybody is happy/satisfied with team <petemcd85>/<stevemcd87>/<Susan freeman>
