In 2001, Tim Edward Knechtel tied for 1st-2nd with Robert Gillanders in the under 2000 section of the Guelph late Fall Pro-Am tournament. In 2005, he tied 1st-3rd with Paul Leblanc and Hal Bond in the under 2000 section of the Oktoberfest open tournament. He won the Concordia spring and fall regular tournaments in 2006. In 2008, he tied 1st-2nd with Tom McClelland in the under 2000 section of the Kitchener Winter open tournament. He has played for team leagues such as the Kitchener and Concordia clubs in the past. He had also been more active as a tournament director in previous years.
