Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-01-05  Abaduba: <chessgames.com> I'm not sure, but I don't think that these games are all by the same person. I mean, Smyslov may have been a WC candidate at 62, but to have played competative chess for 92 years is a little unrealistic. And Muller is a very common surname.
Feb-01-05  aw1988: If Smyslov and Korchnoi and Vaganian and Gulko etc can do it, why can't this German Mega-talent do such a feat?
Oct-02-05  CeeFoR: Well 92 years on record and then you have to consider how old he was when he first played in 1896. So Abaduba seems to be right.
Oct-03-05  sneaky pete: The games from 1927 through 1935 were no doubt played by Austrian master Hans Muller aka Hans Mueller.
Jul-09-06  sneaky pete: Rudy Kousbroek: Varkensliedje 2

Van verre werd mij toegebruld:
Zeg, waarom is uw staart gekruld?
Wat valt daar mee te winnen?
Ik riep: Ik kom uit Otterloo
(En nog eens, want ik stotter zo):
Waar zal ik mee beginnen?
U weet, daarginds in Otterloo,
Daar is een staartenkruller;
Daar woont hij, hij heet Muller.
Het leven gaat veel vlotter zo:
Dankzij de Kruller-Muller.
