She was the runner-up behind Anna Kochukova at the European Girls U14 Championship(1) in 2015 and again won silver (after tiebreaks) at the 2016 WYCC. Aleksandra Maltsevskaya has also previously been Russia's 2nd highest female player of U14 youth in September of 2016.

Sep-22-17  gauer: Wow, it's slightly surprising so far (from her results in the biography) that she remains untitled. Her initial 6 round unbeaten streak at the 2017 WYCC might change that soon, though. The draw after the rest day must've paid off with their section's top seed this morning.
