Honza Cervenka: My former club-mate Lenka Ptacnikova has demolished in great style Laura Rogule in the third round of Czech Open in Pardubice.

Honza Cervenka: <Benzol> She got merried there. She also kept her maiden name which is fine for us as it avoids usual mess with surnames in the database.:-)

Btw, her brother Petr Ptacnik is also a fine player on 2100+ level and member of my chess club DA Prague.

Jun-23-07  Halldor: She is doing fine with no losses at the Hellir Chess Club Tournament in Reykjavik which is now in progress. See pairings and results on: http://chess-results.com/tnr6909.as...

Not easy to find the games, but here are the links for download: on http://hellir.blog.is/blog/hellir/ scroll down and click on :
"fiskimot2007-3.pgn" (games from 3d round)
"fiskimot2007_0.pgn" (games from 2nd round)
"Skákir Fiskmarkaðsmóts Hellis" (games from 1st round)

(The Hellir Chess Club Tournament is now locally called "Fiskmarkaðsmót Hellis" - referring to the sponsor.)

Jun-23-07  Halldor: She made a short draw in the 3rd round against Omar Salama, understandable since he is her husband. O Salama
Sep-01-16  Aurora: She transferred to the Icelandic Chess Federation in 2004 and won the Icelandic women's chess championship seven times (2006, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016) and has represented Iceland at every Women's Chess Olympiad since 2004.
Jun-02-20  dumbgai: I just defeated WGM Lenka Ptacnikova in blitz on chess.com. Lucky win for me of course, but I'll proudly take it!
