Honza Cervenka: In the 1908 Prague tournament Frantisek Treybal's performance was a disappointment and he finished the last among 20 participants with mere 4,5 points (+1=7-11). But a bit surprisingly he scored well in his individual games against all three Lasker's challengers beating Janowski and drawing against Marshall and Schlechter. His draw with Carl Schlechter was also quite important for the outcome of the tournament as it deprived Schlechter of sole victory and helped Oldrich Duras to become its co-winner.
