May-06-09  jimmy1961: Rex came to my school in 1977 and gave a simul I remember that I lost the game but drawed a speed game from him he was a friend of my school teacher Bill Snyder at Augusta Christain Academy Rex was from Thompson Gorgia.
Jan-06-10  kadargo: It was the early 70's, I was 12 years old and Rex was about 19. He was living on the 2nd floor of a boarding house that was located at the rail road tracks in Thomson , GA. We would play extensively, for hours on end----he constantly honed my skills----and skills that I must say that has served me well. He gave me quite a few books to study----such as Fischer vs Spasky. Rex----I owe a lot of my chess playing skills to you----for some reason they never left me. THANK YOU,
Paul (the Kid from Boneville)
