VLADIMIR ZAGOROVSKY (born Jun-29-1925, died Nov-06-1994) Russia	[what is this?]
Vladimir Pavlovich Zagorovsky was born on the 29th of June 1925 in Voronezh, Russia (formerly USSR). Awarded the IMC title in 1964 and the GMC title in 1966 he won the 4th World Correspondence Championship in 1965. In the 5th Championship he was fourth, in the 6th he finished second, in the 7th he was third and in the 8th he was second. He was also Moscow Champion in 1952.

Dec-19-04		Benzol: Vladimir Pavlovich Zagorovsky Born 29th June 1925 in Voronezh Moscow Champion in 1952 he became CIM in 1964 and a CGM in 1966 after winning the title in 1965. In 1971 he was 2nd, 3rd= in 1975 and 2nd in 1980.

He continued to play at highest level up to his death, competing in five consecutive world championships finals with good placing in each.
