Diademas: And does Caruana have a Rapid rating of 2270 and a Blits rating of 2903?

perfidious: In Rapid, it is possible if Caruana has not played since well before making the leap to title contender. (laughs)
Dec-19-21  Messiah: I'm not religious, but thank god Donald doesn't play here, we are free from prearranged draws.
Dec-19-21  nok: Donnie stopped playing on Nov 3rd, 2020.

Atterdag: Shankland-Karjakin 2-0. There may be some higher justice after all.

There seems to be a problem with Fabiananao Carnana:

<Fabino Caruna

Born: 30 July 1992

FIDE Rapid rating: <2270>

FIDE Blits rating: 2903>

He's a weakie (at Rapid)!

MissScarlett: Karjakin showing the benefit of working on Team Nepo. The Russians will have to decide before the Candidates which - or potentially another - would have the best chances against Carlsen.
Dec-22-21  macer75: @#$%*!&... Anand is getting SMOKED!
Dec-23-21  SChesshevsky: < Gashimov Memorial Chess: Anand stumbles...>

Guessing Anand might be feeling some after effects from the recent World Championship Match daily commentating.

Probably a bit fatigued and likely didn't get nearly the prep he would have wanted.
