 | | Penguincw: Site (?): http://ruchess.ru/news/inform/utver.... 6 of the top 50 women in the world are participating here. |
|
May-02-15 | | haydn20: Draws seem to be a rare beast here. |
|
May-03-15 | | mathlover: which are the Teams ? Pls give the list of teams |
|
May-03-15 | | MagnusVerMagnus: Beutiful crush by the beautiful Gunina, Valentina.......smashing the GM Pogogina |
|
May-03-15 | | MagnusVerMagnus: < haydn20: Draws seem to be a rare beast here. > Short says women do not have mental capacity to draw |
|
May-04-15 | | Eric Farley: But they do have the mental capacity to massacre idiotic and mediocre fish like him. Judit Polgar beat him 8 to 3 in classical games and 4 to nil in Rapid. So Kasparov's favorite punching bag should shut his pie-hole, or do us a better favor: take a powder |

So Kasparov's favorite punching bag should shut his pie-hole, or do us a better favor: take a powder> Well, you've never made a post that wasn't jaw-droppingly stupid, and it's a safe bet you play chess much worse than Nigel Short does. So why don't you take a powder instead? |
|
May-04-15 | | cro777: <mathlover: which are the Teams?> The event is a 7-round Swiss tournament with the participation of 10 teams. The main favorites are SHSM "Nashe nasledie" Moscow (Kosteniuk, Gunina, Girya, Kovalevskaya, Kashlinskaya) and
"Yugra" Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Ushenina, Pogonina, Mkrtchian, Guseva, Kovanova). Other participants are: "Boavista" Moscow, "SDYUSSHOR SHSH" St. Petersburg, "University Belorechensk", "Ladya" Kazan, "Grozny" Chechen Republic, "GM Igor Glek International Academy of Chess" Moscow, "Donchanka" Rostov and "Kuban" Krasnodar. http://chess-results.com/tnr171723.... |
|
May-04-15 | | Eric Farley: Not being able to criticize a GM just because you probably don't play like him is downright stupid. But this is not a surprise coming from a crud like you. Go push coke instead of keys. I don't write here for idiots like you to read. |

 | | perfidious: No-one, including <keypusher>, would deny your God-given right to look a fool without apparent effort. Neither are we compelled to view your posts, Mr Moe Rawn. |

Go push coke instead of keys. I don't write here for idiots like you to read.> It's not just that you're a crappy chessplayer. Most of us are. Or that you criticize. All of us do. It's that every post you write is an nasty, over-the-top attack on someone, in comically bad English. (Again, generally I don't blame somebody writing in a second language, but when you call someone <a crud> it makes you sound like an intellectually stunted 12-year-old. Or <take a powder>. I don't think any native speaker has used that phrase uninronically in 50 years.) And every attack is objectively stupid. Nakamura wins four straight at Gibraltar and you write <must be a really weak tournament>. It's an open tournament. You can look up who's playing. Nigel Short has a bad score against Kasparov and Polgar. Oh, the horror. So, in sum:
You contribute nothing.
You write the same garbage again and again, badly.
You should never post again.
Any time you do, I'll be there to tell you what a @#$%* idiot you are. |

May-05-15 | | cro777: After 5 (out of 7) rounds the teams from Moscow and St Petersburg are on top with 8 points (+3 =2 -0). "Boavista" Moscow: Alina Bivol, Irina Vasilevich, Elena Tomilova, Dina Drozdova "SDYUSSHOR SHSH" (Specialized Children and Youth Olympic Reserve School Chess and Checkers) St. Petersburg: Anastasia Bodnaruk, Evgenija Ovod, Dina Belenkaya, Alina Balaian. "Chess Panthers" from Moscow. The name of the Moscow team was inspired by the Boavista Football Club from Porto (Portugal) nicknamed Panteras (Panthers) and Axadrezados (divided into black and white squares). https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipe... |
|
May-05-15 | | cro777: WIM Dina Drozdova, the Moscow rapid chess (women) champion 2014
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-... playing on board 4 for chess panthers from Moscow, is the only player with perfect score 5/5. The best individual result on board 1 has IM Anastasia Bodnaruk from St. Petersburg 4.5/5. http://chess-news.ru/sites/default/... |

May-05-15 | | waustad: <key> The only downside of the ignore feature is that you don't know what people are griping about. |
|
May-07-15 | | MagnusVerMagnus: HORRIBLE blunder by the Grandmaster and gets crushed as white by a mere FM, what a disgrace to mighty Russia, this would be cause for the Gulags back in Stalin days.... The final position is just incredibly a perfect crush, great job Evgenija to create such a masterpiece for all-time, thank you! |
|
May-07-15 | | cro777: And the winners are ...
1. SHSM "Nashe nasledie" Moscow 11 (20.5)
2. "SDYUSSHOR SHSH" St. Petersburg 11 (18.5)
3. "Yugra" Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug 10 (19.5) SHSM "Nashe nasledie" (Our heritage), representing Moscow Chess Federation, and "SDYUSSHOR SHSH", a specialized sports school from St. Petersburg, tied for first place with 11 points, but the winner was "Nashe nasledie" thanks to the greater number of game-points (20.5 vs 18.5). http://chess-results.com/tnr171723.... |
|
May-07-15 | | cro777: We are the champions!
SHSM "Nashe nasledie" Moscow:
1. GM Alexandra Kosteniuk (2529) 3.5/6
2. GM Valentina Gunina (2532) 5/5
3. WGM Olga Girya (2464) 4.5/6
4. IM Ekaterina Kovalevskaya (2438) 5/6
5. IM Alina Kashlinskaya (2436) 2.5/5
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CEbiP_7... (From left to right: Kashlinskaya, Girya, Gunina, Kosteniuk, Kovalevskaya) |
|
May-07-15 | | cro777: The defending champion, Anna Ushenina and Natalia Pogonina's team "Yugra" Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug took the bronze medal. Looking at Natalia's facial expressions, it seems that she was not quite satisfied with her performance at the champioship 3.5/6 on board 2. http://chess-news.ru/sites/default/... http://chess-news.ru/sites/default/... |
|
May-08-15 | | Jack Bauer: <cro777: Natalia's facial expressions> I'd call it (the regular) <tension> during a competitive game. ;) |
|
May-08-15 | | MagnusVerMagnus: < cro777: > Those pictures say a thousand words each, at least those not photo shopped, thank you. |
|
May-08-15
 | | HeMateMe: bronze is pretty good. Natalie is only ranked somewhere around 30-40, so she really shouldn't be expected to carry the team. Kosteniuk and Gunina are the heavy hitters, among the Russian women. |
|
May-08-15 | | MagnusVerMagnus: Yeah she probably should of been on third or fourth board honestly. |
|
May-10-15 | | cro777: The bronze medalists - "Yugra" Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug http://ruchess.ru/upload/iblock/0da... (From left to right: Pavel Lobach coach, Pogonina, Kovanova, Ushenina and Guseva) IM Pavel Lobach is Pogonina's long-time trainer. |
