 | | alexmagnus: Some games are duplicate! |
Oct-15-14 | | virginmind: Ioana Gelip (2154) is making a good impression at WJC, today playing the last round (board three) against Daria Pustovoitova (2354). Good luck! |
Oct-15-14 | | virginmind: It's not the last round, my mistake. She was placed 4th with 6/8 points, but today in the 9th she lost against Pustovoitova. |

Oct-16-14 | | notyetagm: World Junior Championship (Girls) (2014) OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Oct-16-14 | | notyetagm: <alexmagnus: Reminded me somwhat of P Sangla vs Karpov, 1968> Wow, very similar with the idea of ... g5-g4! <REMOVING THE GUARD> if the White bishop had moved instead of playing ♗x♙. |
Oct-18-14 | | waustad: Congratulations to Aleksandra Goryachkina for winning before the last round. Perhaps next time she should play in the open side. |
Oct-19-14 | | fref: I wonder why Aleksandra Goryachkina got to start 8 times with the white pieces and only 5 with the black ones. |
Oct-19-14 | | waustad: <fref>Pairings get strange sometimes in a Swiss. After some earlier draws, she wasn't always on the top board. I would assume that the top board switched between black and white each round and the rest of the boards alternated colors. One FM commenting on chessbomb bemoaned getting 5 consecutive blacks in a Swiss. |
Oct-20-14 | | fisayo123: I just saw that. That's obviously a huge advantage for Goryachinka. Really pathetic that. |
Nov-26-14
 | | Tabanus: And congrats to Chumpitaz for 3rd place with only 12 games. |
Oct-18-17
 | | Tabanus: Reddy Hinduja vs Ann Chumpitaz 0-1 (round 1) is only missing game in top-29. |
