Aleksandra Goryachkina won with 11/13 and took her second World Junior Champion title. She also qualified for the FIDE Women's World Chess Championship (2015) (where she was knocked out in the second round by Anna Muzychuk).

If the White f3-knight moves, then Black plays 11 ... ♘e4x♘d2 and White cannot take back becase 12 ♕d1x♘d2?? ♗f8-b4 <PINS> the White d2-queen to the e1-king.

A *crushing* way to lose a White game on Board 1 late in the tournament. White must have been in shock after this game.

Wow, very similar with the idea of ... g5-g4! <REMOVING THE GUARD> if the White bishop had moved instead of playing ♗x♙.

Oct-19-14  waustad: <fref>Pairings get strange sometimes in a Swiss. After some earlier draws, she wasn't always on the top board. I would assume that the top board switched between black and white each round and the rest of the boards alternated colors. One FM commenting on chessbomb bemoaned getting 5 consecutive blacks in a Swiss.
