Jan-31-13 | | twinlark: This seems to be a major achievement by Adams, yet he doesn't list it at all in his website, and nor does Wikipedia: http://www.lekochess.com/index.php?... and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_.... I thought it might be a rapid tournament, but there is nothing to indicate that it is. In any case, the Rapid Grand Prix in Bordeaux that he won the same year is listed in his resume. Anyone know why he's bashful about this result? |
|
Jan-31-13 | | Shams: <twinlark> Monster achievement from Adams. Somehow you got your wires crossed (if you are anything like me you have a dozen or more tabs open at once) and you were searching on Peter Leko pages instead of Adams pages. :) This win is noted on Adams' wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michae...(chess_player) |

Jan-31-13 | | twinlark: <Shams>
I thought I'd deleted my stupid post when I discovered that for myself earlier. When I'm writing a major bio, I usually have about 3 windows open with up to 50-60 open tabs. |

 | | perfidious: <twinlark> Blow the whistle on yourself under 'other', citing carelessness. When I spend time on the PC, I too have many tabs open-might be 20 or more. Even with Kasparov absent, a most impressive result for Adams. |
|
Sep-23-21 | | fisayo123: Yeah I think this was the best result of Adams' career, together with qualfying for the final of the FIDE knockout championship. I put this above : Dortmund Sparkassen (2013) Terrible result by Vishy though, in his 'prime' |
