alexmagnus: As each year, Hanna will play in the German Youth Championship (though I don't yet know in which section). You can elect her for player of the year in her age group in Germany here:

OhioChessFan: Schwarhofer gave a clinic on how not to play a King's Gambit. 6. dxc6 only helped Black to develop. 9. d5 might be the losing move. I realize the game was won, but 14...Nf2 was much more forcing.

alexmagnus: According to twitter Hanna lost... But the broadcast is stuck, which leaves me wondering how on earth she managed to lose with white from this position:

That's a really bad surprise. I hope it won't hit Hanna too strongly.

alexmagnus: Oh no... It's only draw in round 2. This must be Hanna's worst start in any tournament since she was 10-11 (in tpr terms; in relation to her own rating at the moment of a tournament probably worst ever...).

Hope it gets better. Wish Hanna success. Though now she almost has to win all remaining games to live up to her favourite role......

In the third round it goes against Laura Margarita Müller (-/1544).
