alexmagnus: Draw against Kaphle. I wonder if why Hanna Marie offered it, with a pawn up... Respect? I mean, that strongly remins me of H M Klek vs Meri Arabidze, 2008 - draw, in a better position, against a 2100ish rated opponent. Here today's game:

alexmagnus: <still fairly well in the rounds>

Well, that depends. Today's loss threw away even a theortical possibility of winning the title (the leader, Wiede Friedrich, is 2.5 pts away with 2 rounds to go). But OK, Hanna was seeded 7th and is 9th now, so it may be called an OK performance so far (things may have been better if she didn't offer that draw to Kaphle).

With 4/7 Hanna is now on places 7-13 on points (9th on tiebreakers), with, as I said, 2 rounds to go.

Opponent in the 8th round is Ruven Davydov (1914/1879).
