Thirdly, i'd call him by his name.
Funny how a neutral term designating a racial group can trigger your PC programming and derail a perfectly legitimate debate as to why there are only two Negro GMs in the world. ('Black' if you prefer, it makes no difference to my point. Notwithstanding my earlier tongue-in-cheek aside, the reason i don't use the term 'black' is b/c it implies that racial differences are only skin deep when, demonstrably, they go far beyond that). |

Maybe it is easier to try to debate why Jews are are massively overrepresented among the male World Champions? Is it because of biological, cultural, religious or national/political factors? I would go for a mix of the first two, even if that would label me a racist among some people. For the record, I'm not a Jew, according to any of the above four factors. |
