The entire Blitz tournament will take place on the 5th, and there will be a separate winner bet for it... provided the organizers will disclose the names of the 4 mystery players promised to join the tournament for the Blitz part alone, in time to set up the bet. Mar-03-18    Boomie: Bizarre distribution on the blitz board (3:30 AM 3/4 GMT). It looks like somebody bet their entire stake by spreading it more or less evenly. Everybody is 400 or 500. Is this common betting strategy? Or is it just somebody who can't play any more and is going all in to keep the chips in the game? I've seen that in Web poker tourneys. Mar-04-18    Boomie: In the poker tourneys, the guy trying to lose usually announces it in advance. It produces some novel plays. In one game, I was directly to the right of a guy with a huge stack going all in on every deal. I limped in with any hand that could beat Q7. If anybody called his all in, I folded.
