What about putting <Z4all> (zanzibar, realdumptrump) on the payroll?

Jan-15-21  Sokrates: If Sargon & Co. fails to put Tata on the map BEFORE tournament begin, I dare question that they <pledge good faith and due diligence>, and they would certainly have lost all claims to <receive the same from our valued membership>.

What has become of the ancient rule of trade & exchange: We pay and expect - you receive and deliver!

Jan-15-21  Messiah: Even more importantly than the addition of TATA (which would be very good, but a couple of days of delay is absolutely tolerable at least by me), please correct the site's security issues. Thank you very much.

Tabanus: I have a TATA STEAL intro ready! :)

TATA STEAL
TATA STEAL

Jan-15-21  Messiah: I would like to play against the team of chessgames.com members in a daily challenge.
Jan-15-21  technical draw: I understand that entertainment will be provided by the Tata Steel Band. I sure that be a ting, mon.
Jan-16-21  Sokrates: <Messiah: I would like to play against the team of chessgames.com members in a daily challenge.>

Oh, you challenge the serious members every day by your infantile provocations which serve no other purpose than exactly that.

I am shure the members here, will enjoy not playing with you.

Jan-16-21  WinKing: Still nothing for Tata Steel from <chessgames>. Very disappointing.

It is not very healthy to let this much hatred boil through your veins.

Jan-16-21  lostemperor: <WinKing: Still nothing for Tata Steel from <chessgames>. Very disappointing.> I think chessgames.com is still in lockdown mode.

True, but you confuse annoyance with hatred. It is impossible to grant hatred to a persistently buzzing fly.

Everybody has pluses and minuses eh. For me, <Messiah> has many pluses. I enjoy reading his posts, for example. He is always personable, has a sense of humor, and knows a great deal about chess history.

In addition, he helps our database every day by discovering errors, so that the editors have a chance to fix them. He has an impressive knowledge of chess history, and a real eye for detail. I know this because I frequently run across his posts in the course of my work.

I find many people annoying as well, including myself. I actually tried putting myself on ignore once, but we don't have coding for that.

I'm not sure why exactly.

Ok, but I noticed <Messiah> correctly answered some pretty heavy chess history questions you posed him yesterday.

In fact didn't he answer so many times on the car crash question that you had to retroactively re-write the question to accommodate his (correct) answer?

I would suggest if he wants more response he should clean out the forum's ignore list.

<Jim>

<Ohio> has no access to the bgitw chessforum forum, so he cannot alter the profile or the ignore list or anything else on it.

<Tony Palmer> created that forum and he is gone now- rip. If anyone is on the ignore list for the forum it is <Tony> who added their name.
