I did after a few seconds notice that 26. Nc7 is mate, but at first I was thinking just in terms of that move regaining the queen, with an extra pawn in the bargain. If White is determined to win the black queen, he's got to play 25. Nc7+ first, with the continuation 25. ... Qxc7 26. Qxb5+ Bd7 27. Rxd7, etc. A lot of humor in this one. |

If the mods really knew it was a fake account with scraped and spun content, they would delete it. It's all part of SEO. They use tools like Xrumer to create profiles on millions of forums, and they have these profiles interact by scraping content from relevant articles and books, spinning them together to get mileage out of the content, and then post to sites like this. It keeps the profile alive longer. Nothing has been done about this poster, not that I give it more than a passing thought, so I wanted to comment about it. |

More interesting, it seems to me that white missed 17 Be5 trapping the black queen. Very surprised that it was missed. |

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a set of methods, techniques and strategies designed to increase the rankings of one's website for certain targeted keywords. The main way to accomplish this is through link building. That is, linking from one site to the targeted site with certain keywords used as the link text. In order to do this in an automated fashion, people created programs that can sigh up to a forum, click the verification link in the email, and login to the forum. Then, once in the forum, the program looks for a way to post comments and place links. This is called automated link building. It was very effective for while but Google got wise to it and made it harder. Now, in order for Google to reward your site's rankings based on the inbound links, the inbound links need to be from pages relevant to the target site. What these programs do for SEO's is they search the internet for related content, copy it, mix it up, and then use that "spun content" for posts, comments and what not. Programs such as Xrumer or Scrapebox or SENuke do this for hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of forums to try to get as many links back to the target site as possible. The programs look for telltale signs that a website is a forum. It scans for certain code and can tell if the site is a forum. That's probably how this site got on <chrisowen>'s list. The programs create fake usernames for each forum it visits so that they all look unique to Google when linking back to the target site. Try this for more information:

Perhaps there's more to the story than you're aware.> Perhaps, that could definitely be the case, but I've often looked at his posts and the content comes across as totally spun by a program, such as <TheBestSpinner> http://thebestspinner.com/ His posts do not seem like those of someone that is struggling with English as a second language. Instead, they look like cheap spun content. The other thing I wondered was if this guy actually writes his posts in another language and then translates it into English via https://translate.google.com/ But it doesn't really come across that way to me. That posters comments look like straight up SEO spam and I'm wondering why everyone has realized it but the account still remains. |
