GM (2008). He tied for 1st-3rd with Walter Arencibia and Joel Benjamin in the 2011 Canadian Open. Winner of the Balkan Grand Prix event in Cetinje, Montenegro ("Danilo Dajo Batricevic memorial") in August 2009. Author (with Vladimir Georgiev) of "A Course in Chess Tactics". He was the captain/coach of the Papua New Guinea team in the 2012 Chess Olympiad.

Mar-26-12  cro777: GM Dejan Bojkov won the Cork Chess Congress Masters section 2012 with 5 poits out of 6, the next four highest rated players coming joint second with 4.5 points: IM Alex Lopez, GM Alexander Baburin, FM Philip Short (all Ireland) and American IM John Donaldson.

The traditional annual tournament in Cork, Ireland took place over the weekend of March 23rd - 25th 2012.

Among participants was the Chessgames legend <Domdaniel> scoring 3/6.

Jun-23-14  independentthinker: Anyone own his DVD Chess Highways and can say if it is any good or not? I have his tactics book and it is pretty much the best thing I have ever read on tactics. I feel like I am learning something from every example.
